@dalerimoller2722 жыл бұрын
@Alex M I got arrested and asked if I could stay in jail until I got over my withdrawals. I was able to bond out but I stayed until the worst of it was over, then I bonded out and got into rehab. They prescribed me suboxone in rehab and it’s saved my life. I’ve been weening down but not off of it yet. Like heather said, you really do have to change who you’re around etc. Also, therapy is a big part. Get to the root of why you’re using, what you’re running from and start working that out in therapy. The best advice I was given: “hustle for your recovery just as hard as you hustled to get your fix and you will stay clean.” That might sound daunting, but I promise it gets easier. Life will become manageable again, you’ll be able to enjoy life- the good and the bad. And when bad things come along in life, you’ll be able to deal with them more easily when you are clean. Especially if you reach out to others in recovery. I don’t go to NA or anything, but everyone kinda sticks together to help each other out when we can relate on our hardships. Strangers in recovery can grow to be family. Everyone has something to share to help. I wish the very best for you. You can do it.

@apophis401232 жыл бұрын
Well I think the reason "allegedly drunk" is used is because there are other things that can impair an individual such as drugs or medications. Additionally there are rare instances of medical conditions that increase the BAC of an individual that could then impair them. So we can't say definitively that he "is drunk" until further investigation and examination likely via medical professionals

My worst year was 2020 drinking was so easy to me because nothing bad ever happened and I would go through a bottle every week by myself- I witnessed a car accident on a background I was driving and the father and daughter passed away from the collision- the responding officer told me they thought he was drunk driving from the open cans and later it was confirmed . The guy survived that hit the father and daughter and it just made me so sad because she looked exactly like mine . I went sober for almost a full year then drank socially and almost got addicted to drinking again but I look at their photos to remind myself not to drink and drive also I have a good support group now to help me stay sober and if not sober than at least to call an Uber or get a ride .
