Not sure if my comment is fair as I am not an expert on horse racing. But the fallen grey horse kept jumping to the right, thus eventually colliding with the framework. Should the jockey have kept the horse more in the centre of each approaching fence ?

Pretty sure the grey, Riviere d'Ettelle, is done for! Did you notice that the grey jumped every fence veering sharply to the right. Sharply ..Every one! This indicated a FUNDAMENTRAL underlying injury the horse was no doubts trying to compensate for. Indeed, one prior obstacle the grey horse also hit fairly hard, very nearly unseating the rider. The Jockey should have pulled his mount up.....after noticing this behavior!!! The grey is DONE!

Such a hard horse to predict, one thing I do know, lay this horse later in the season, her form falls off a cliff in the spring.

State Man got a terrible ride while BDA was superb, Lossiemouth also placed very far off the pace and was beaten by one of the best ever, Ballyburn bumped into a a monster 2 miler when he’s after a much longer distance

Not sure I'd say she's back,was only 1 other proper horse in the race and that looked laboured after 3 fences,ADV only had to get round really.

Good performance, appears to be hard held but winning by 20+ lengths indicates that she can cope with higher opposition. Definitely a graded race mare

When she was beaten in the Mares' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival she was 6½L behind Limerick Lace who she was giving 3lbs to and also gave 3lbs to Riviere d'Etel but still finished 15L in front of her. They both opposed in this race but here she was getting 5lbs from the former and 3lbs from the latter.

I will take Stuart Edmunds Marsh Wren over this hype job. 3rd in Mares Chase at festival last season in front of this horse .But looks to have improved this after Market Rasen demolition job in seasonal debut.
