One of the best episodes, it's ahead of it's time,, glad i found a model kit of the Thetan by Lunar Moddels.

You don't think that the original story of him landing at the United Nations and the world reaction the their (the scientists) plan or maybe their plan fails? Or a world war or some other miscalculation would not have been a way better ending?

EXCELLENT and sad 😢....writing and acting couldn't never exist like this anymore. One of my favorite episodes.

That's what makes the outer limits so great the fact they're so relatable even now.

That was no mere man in a costume. That was Janos Prohaska. No strings attached.

She was so calm here. You know she had passion in her heart, but she was strong. In the scene where a female character typically falls into a faint or hysterical screams, she looks on without panic

This is what I think happened with the writer of The Architects of Fear: The writer came up with an amazing sci-fi story and wrote 3/4 of the story, Knowing that this might be Emmy Award winning material (it certainly is in my opinion) he grabbed his chest and dropped dead. The producers realizing they paid for the story hired another writer to create the fourth "act." The second writer had other things to do. Since his name would not be on the credits he wrote the quickest stupidest moronic crud so he could get back to his own stuff and gave the story to the producers and went on his way.

Poor Allen, made the supreme sacrifice by having himself turned into an (illegal??)alien..., and to die w/ a giant "dick-head!" @ 3:38 (Yes, I really think this was a great episode..., could they ever make one like it today; with good scripts & scary monsters?)

Supposedly some stations blocked out the image of the monster, because it was so terrifying.… Low standards for “terrifying” back then.

True…but then “The Exorcist” (1973) would seem very tame to todays audience.
@thomasromano93214 ай бұрын
No not low standards. This episode was made when President Kennedy was still alive. Think about that.

There are scores of episodes of TZ that are inferior for emotional drama to this one episode alone.
