New to the channel and this is the video I was waiting to see. A complete tear down and rebuild. I yelled "no you're not!" when Heath said he was going to make new welts for these shoes. Then, to top it off he flippin' hand sews them on! OMG! That's some real craftsmanship right there. Complete admiration and respect for the artistry and skill involved in bringing these shoes back to life. Bravo gentlemen, BRAVO!

This one has it all! I've watched nearly all of your videos, looking for the one I can share with family and friends to let them see "hot cork time", hand stitching a handmade welt, fully revitalizing a tired leather upper, machine stitching the sole, and even cutting that little corner out of the heel. Great work on these. Hand stitching that welt is no joke! Something I just thought of: It would be really cool if you guys were occasionally able to get a video from your clients of them unboxing/trying on/reacting to receiving their reconditioned shoes. It think it would add a really nice, even more personal element to these videos. Y’all put a lot of love and care into these shoes, so it would be really cool to see that translate to the person that owns them. Just a thought 😉

Guys what a beautiful job on the shoes, and also the shop has more equipment in it. When you gave us the glimpse inside the new shop you said about the sound quality issues. And that got me thinking! I work in a little theatre which opened in 2015, to suppress the sound bouncing off surfaces, plans were to put up board’s covered in a fabric. Rather than having sound bouncing off the plaster, glass etc the fabric absorbs the noise. Wood and cork would do exactly the same. That’s if you are still finding issues with noise. I hope you doing mind me sharing, I think about the weirdest things when left on my own 🤓

I have a pair of Allan Edmonds wing tips sitting in a pair of cedar shoe trees. My mother gave them to me for my 40th birthday and they are in great condition. Oh..and I am 73 years old. You guys do skilled craftsman type of work.

Nothing like wearing shoes which have been repaired yet remained in shape your feet changed them into. All shoes will, over time gently mould into shape our feet are resting in, around the inside of shoes.

This was one of the best videos I've seen you do: from my perspective, it gives a lot of the detail and processes necessary to produce a Goodyear welted shoe; the making of the welt; the hand stitching of the welt; the sole stitching (was that stitching machine a vintage piece?); the fudging tools... I've always wanted to send you my Church's vintage tassel loafers. They have a false welt and the sole is cemented! Such a shame as the uppers are very good leather. I would send them to you but I live in the UK and it would be out of my budget I bought them on ebay for £40). Great video and good to see your new workshop. Tony
