Other "problem" (i.e. not a problem at all) I've noticed with this is that I can never listen to it just once. I have to keep going and training myself on more of the lyrics on each pass. I don't know Sanskrit but I can at least recognize the proper nouns. I have a beloved professor who could translate this for me in a snap: I think I might send it to him.

Rama was the king of a kingdom called Ayodhya. The song begins with the praise of the king and the queen (we Hindus consider him as an incarnation of god). The song later says that all the gods are same and they only have different name.

Ugh...and now I'm going to sound like a cow, though I don't mean to. Uploader person, honey, I LOVE you, because this is a really good Sutra, but it is NOT the Prajnaparamita Sutra. I went poking around online because I KNEW it wasn't a Buddhist Sutra, given the mentions of Rama and words like "Bhagavan" ("Lord", capital L, or better rendered perhaps as "Beloved"). So I looked into it, and this thing is called the Rama Dhun. I also found a translation if you wan it. Like I say, LOVE this, so I'm not hating, I swear.

Yeah I was gonna say the same thing - this is some classic Ginsberg kirtan with even Allah brought in for good measure! Some perfection of wisdom but not a Buddhist Sutra 😅

But what does it mean, please? If anyone can translate, it would be my Eastern Philosophy professor, but I can't find a translation online. I SWEAR it's a Hindu Sutra but, for some reason, Google keeps telling me it's Buddhist. But isn't "Ishvara" another name for Lord Vishnu?

That's because it's misnamed. It's not the Prajnaparamita Sutra - which is Buddhist - it's the Rajghupati Raghav - which is Hindu.
