I do tell the truth but has to go hand in hand with others around you doing likewise In my experience rarely happens like ppl are afraid of it sadly Truth and Peace what great duo that would be!

Trungpa evidently channeled that precognitive vision. Remember Kerouac was a heavy drinker, yet functional.. So was Alan Watts, who I understand was almost always in various stages of inebriation, yet he was extraordinarily lucid in the course of his extensive talks. So, alcoholism doesn't have to be categorized as antithetical to philosophical insight and its effective communication; it really depends on the individual's ability to handle it..

frank xaidam The same can be said for many vices. Burroughs with heroin (though I certainly am not saying heroin is permissible or okay), Ginsberg and many others with LSD, countless other writers with amphetamines, the list goes on.
