My SSD is quick enough to record as all 18 wav files are there. I'm very new at this so I'm sure I have a setting wrong somewhere.

I did not fine a fix for the soft sound, i had it blasting in my ears and not to the recording card. Just barely hear it, so i got a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro, switch, sends to my computer, Screens, and to FB Stream, has its on sound software, getting sound from main output on q32, so i am good. Hi there is someone able to help us understand why the audio recording is really soft? When recording to the thumb drive, it shows on the Qu-Drive meter at the level hits around the yellow indicator but when importing into garage, the audio is way below quality. Even after normalizing it through GarageBand, the audio is just unacceptable.

Hi! If playing back a mutlitrack recording on Qu-Drive, each signal will be mapped to the input channels. By this I mean Qu-Drive will send out 18 individual signals and these will be played back onto CH1-18, but only when the channels are sourced from USB. So where the playback is sent to depends on how the input channels are routed. Please go to support.allen-heath.com to start a ticket and we can go through how to set this up on your system in more detail. Thanks! Alex

Hello Ben, You can indeed record as many tracks as you need, from setup/IO Patch/USB Audio by marking with an X the unwanted channels. It is not possible to record and playback simultaneously from the drive, but you can use the USB B port simultaneously to the Qu-Drive so you might need to do one or the other through the USB B port. How do you name the multitrack files? They only show up as MT-001 etc
@AllenandHeathUK3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tony, It's possible to rename the files on a computer once you have completed the recording, but it's not possible to rename them on the Qu. The naming structure is part of how the Qu-Drive system works, so once you have changed the names via a computer, they won't be recognised in Qu-Drive anymore. You can find more information on this here: www.allen-heath.com/media/Qu-Mixer-Reference-Guide-AP9372_10.pdf#page=54 Thanks Alex

Hello Murugesh, Whether you are streaming through USB B or recording on Q-Drive, the gain and level being sent to record is the same gain originally set up for the channel as input source.
