"Killers respect killers" in AI's words and Kobe had the same respect for AI. Ernie Johnson asked Kobe "Who are the best competitors you've faced?" in 2016. Kobe didn't even think about saying LeBron and he said two names, MJ and AI.

Yep, plus he dsnt disrespect the younger/current players. Plus, if i remember correctly, he always shows love and respect to those who came before him as well. AI was one of my favs growing up and i guess its kinda sad to say but another reason i love and respect the dude even more is cuz hes one of the few who respects all, his "elders", his peers and his "underclassmen". People underestimate the impact Steph had on modern basketball. Defense is played different, offense runs different, recruiting is done different, team building is done different, player development is done different, every player is expected to be perimeter threats and defenders now. All because of curry’s shooting ability no basketball player has had a global impact on basketball like him

@@CharlieQiu-v3u I miss the old players. They weren't distracted by social media and didn't need player empowerment. They got out and ball like their life depended on it. @@AfroWasiu I can't name the casino for obvious reasons. But I worked as a Pit Boss there. Now casinos (This one specifically) will pretty much let you do whatever you want if you're spending that kind of money, or you're a VIP. I'm talking ANYTHING. Be rude to staff, make an absolute ass of yourself. They will tell us to do whatever to keep you there and happy. I have seen VIPS do the wildest of things up here. Allen Iverson to this day is the ONLY millionaire that is banned from that casino for behavior. Despite how much he spent (And he was a big time gambler) We used to have to get specific dealers to deal to him (He played three card poker mostly) because he would berate most dealers so badly that they would end up in the back crying or outright quit (2 dealers straight up quit and one threatened to quit if we put her on that table with him) On more than one occasion he sexually assaulted a waitress by groping them, he even spit on a dealer after getting a bad hand. Everyone was so happy when they finally banned him. Iverson is a terrible human and everything bad that has ever happened to him he deserves.

AI wasn’t a selfish player that was a myth propagated by Phillys roster construction at the time. Yep, every “all time” team needs Steph, the ultimate floor spacer and a guard who doesn’t need to dribble the air out of the ball, especially those old timers likes to pick players who can’t shoot three well and tends to be a ball hog. I have seen some people put Kobe, MJ, Shaq, Lebron, and Magic on the same team, how is that even going to work? None of them shoots 3s well, lanes would be clogged, Magic and Lebron would be fighting over who gets to dribble the ball.

One of the craziest guard duos ever would be Steph and Shaq. Both players changed the game in the opposite way. Steph with his range and shooting spreads out the defense from the rim more than any player ever, while Shaq with his power size and strength contracted the defense to the rim more than any player ever. I think of other duos (guard/wings and bigs PF/C) that would be unreal and I have to say MJ and Dream with their footwork and dominance on both sides of the floor would be unreal. Imagine KD pairing up with Kareem. So many options to think about.

Everyone is chasing 6 more so than 11 because in the 60s the Celtics had 5 to 6 Hall of Famers in their prime going up against mediocre teams. MJ got 6 in a time where there was way more competition. I remember when Hannah Storm asked Shaq "You have 3 titles, what else are you playing for?" and Shaq responded with "4,5, and 6".

Wasn’t it about only five teams in the league back then? That’s why I never participate in GOAT discussion. It’s totally ludicrous Tao compare different times and eras. For instance, is Michael Jordan the same if he had to wear canvas Converse shoes?

@@torrisfairley3227Jordan era had more competition? LMAO🤣🤣💀💀 1988 = 23 teams, 1998 = 29 teams. ALL MJ 6 rings were won during expanison. Bill Russel 1st ring ('57) = 8 teams, 8-PEAT ('59-'66) = 9 teams. So 9 out of 11 Rings, NO EXPANSION! *Also less teams = more Comp!* Think about it: If u Cut the NBA to only 15 teams (The East). Then All the Stars from the West will be signed, added to & stacked on top of the talent already on the East teams. 15 Superteams is WAAYYY MORE COMP!!

No its not hard, you have to be the best person on your team, and what ever your contribution to the game is on a night in night out basis is the reason your team wins and results in rings........Russell, Kareem, Magic, Jordan, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, Bron, Curry, Bird.......in that order, these are the best players whos skill set resulted in winning and championships
