Yeah you have to have a change of gear to make it in the league. He's one of the best ever at shifting from 3rd to 1st. To deny this is to actually state how horrible the rest of the nba so called athletes are who can't stop him. I remember they said Larry Bird couldn't dunk for Years. Dude could fly under the basket from the side and do a 180 and slam it. I'd say 15% of the league could do that at the time. But it was still said. Because they wanted to dog the rest of white people and you couldn't not add Larry Bird when you were talking about the NBA back then. So they had to dawg his game even when the truth was gonna keep being put right in front of them. It's really how the Media works. They love this division crap. In fact you might even say it's their primary objective. Want Evidence. Whites are killed twice as often than blacks in these Confrontations with the Law. But you won't hear a peep about them. Cause they want people believing the exact opposite of reality and being angry which leads to hate and leads to innocent people dying when people should be acting like individuals and getting along at a all time high. Their is a ton more just like this but lets just state the Media is very good at their job(and obviously reporting unbias news isn't part of that). @countfloydschillerhorrorth2090
@countfloydschillerhorrorth2090 Ай бұрын
@@levimcfadden7276 If you are speaking to me. You are in fact wrong. It was in fact a black harvard professor who came out with the facts. that indeed stopped a whole year long media propaganda and riots that was ended overnight by the facts finally coming out. Now I know what you are gonna do. It's almost not your fault as you been trained to do it. But you seem like you might me intelligent, So this is something you need to address before you can get to the deeper truths. a truth many do not want. Look Whites are killed twice as much as blacks in these confrontations with the law. That is a fact. Now what you are no doubt doing is what the media scrambled to do when this information first came out. Now they couldn't discredit it. it was factual. But they could spin it. And they came back with the only thing they could. which was to say. Well yes they are killed more often but when you factor in percent then blacks are still killed (in these confrontations with the law) more often. Which you don't know is that this excuse was also debunked because while true blacks are not killed as much but are killed at a higher per capita. Blacks are much much more likely to have cops be called to a deadly dangerous situation where the out of control criminal is black than it is white. Therefore going by Percent, actually shows whites are still killed more often because the percent of blacks acting a fool(while not more than whites) it is way more than whites per capita. And let me ask you to try to realize what you did. You took a fact. A fact that is clearly hidden from the public(but readily available for those that search for it, and I am talking NYTimes and WaPo and other Leftwing sources that don't like the findings). and you tried to deny it. Probably due to the percent spin(which is not a argument you win when the same argument is used back against it). You been played. Many of you are willing slaves to the liberal placation. Though they certainly wouldn't phrase it that way. It is still true for many. "White Liberals Use Black People as a Political Football in Their Ongoing War with Conservatives" Malcolm X.

4:02 To the skeptical commentator: Iverson could hit threes, and he is so fast and handles the ball so well that he would get to the hoop at will. He averaged 33 points in an era where scoring was really low. With today's pace he would have more opportunities. And if Iverson is wide open he will hit his fair share of threes. Also, Iverson didn't not practice shooting. He visualized the ball going in. Imagine if Iverson worked hours upon hours on shooting especially with the shooting gurus of this era.

Euro ball is the same in Australia. That’s why guys like LeMelo are coming to Australia to play in the National league before their draft year. They get to play against big bodies and get that experience of playing against grown men. Team ball structure. And then they still have the same skills they grew up with at home which they can only add to their game. It’s not a bad apprenticeship before going into the NBA

Look, I don't doubt that the prolific scorers back then could get close to 40 in today's game, the reason is simply, people talk about 3 ball, they didn't need 3 ball to get 30 and up they were that good so imagine today's game if the incorporate that 3 ball in their game? and they would go to the line more frequently because less physicality, the rules are geared towards offense. James in his prime averaged 36pts because of the rule, Jordan averaged 37pts because of his skills not because of the rule on mostly 2's so too did Kobe 35pt and Iverson 33pts, if they can do that on mostly 2's where it was harder to get bucket, don't you think it would be easier where there are no defense?

I don't know how anyone could compare JA to Iverson 😂 Best thing about JA is his athleticism. He doesn't really have a jumper and his handles are basic. Don't get me wrong he is fast so he gets it off. The only comparison would have to be Kyrie.

I hope Luka takes the upcoming offseason off and lets his body heal instead of continuing to play in Europe. Likewise, focuses more on his conditioning.

Philly mgmt. let Iverson down plain and simple. Had they teamed him up with someone like Vince Carter, or McGrady at the time, they would've been unstoppable.

There is no freaking way Iverson could score 43 on average a season, if Luka who is a better player haven't done it. In my opinion not even MJ could average 40, that could only happen in the horniest dreams of the hardcore 90's fans (and I am one, so I can tell). They both for sure could score 30plus, and that's it. The reason is simple, times.have change, coaching, playing, etc and no coach would risk injuring his major star to keep it 40 min in the court to score 40. Also, that wouldn't necessarily ensure winning, and would affect the other's players performance. Luka, whether US fans want to acknowledge it or not, is at pairs with Kobe as a score, if not better, and of course much s better passer. And as much as hatters have seed the narrative that he sucks at defense, he gets more rebound than Kobe ever did, and get some stills too. That is not to say is a great defensive player, but he's far from.been that bad. It is good though that Iverson recognizes this kid greatness. By the way, I hope all Luka's hatters enjoyed how he trashed the Clippers badly

Only people who did not see the MJ years do not believe he would average 40 plus in today's game. If more of the fouls were called he would have had that back then.

@marcogomez2736 Ай бұрын
@@levimcfadden7276 well, you dropped the ball there. I saw MJ, I was born in the late 70s and watched the 90s basketball all the time. MJ is in my opinion the best all times and a natural.score. But sorry, no, there is no way he could average 40 or more a game during a whole season. There are several players now who are as good a score as MJ was. KD, taller, and a much better shooter. Luka, better footwork, taller and very skilled. Tatum, taller and very talented. Embid, you name it. I am not saying MJ wouldn't be as good as them, maybe he would. But is a clear evidence on how elite offensive players much better at field goal percentage and threes haven't done it. And that thing about "if he scored 35, 37 with the handshake, and a more physical NBA, he would average 50" is pure bullshit. Just go and watch the stats on how injuries have increased in modern NBA, due to the players covering much more space. In today's NBA, to score 40 MJ would need playing almost 40 minutes. That is an injury risk no coach would be willing to take

~ What’s wrong with videos like this, the commentator doesn’t know nor understand basketball. He’s an analytics guy. Zero context. Allen Iverson was a spectacular athlete for his size. He was a scorer, a streaky shooter, but an our unadulterated scorer. Without the context that A.I played the bulk of his career in the slowest paced, lowest scoring era of the 2000’s and without understanding that the rules allowing for freedom of movement, which allowed guys like Steph Curry (who was often injured, and unable to really grow his early part of his career) to flourish. The rule changes, the gather step, and the floor spacing have made scoring way easier in this era~ now if you’ve been watching closely post All-Star break and the playoffs, with a renewed emphasis on defensive physicality, Luka and the other great scorers aren’t as efficient, they don’t score as easily, with increased resistance. Those shooting splits have gone down dramatically for many guys. They still score, but it’s not as easy… Now add in the context that A.I was amongst the league leaders in scoring in a tougher defensive era with less space, and less freedom of movement… Sheesh can you imagine A.I. in the High screen and role with a player like Embid… ? Man, These analytics guys who break down players games by stats, are actually dumbing down the modern fan especially guys who haven’t actually played ball. Guys who think they understand the game on a deeper level 😂😂 Nah. They truly don’t understand. Also, just for anecdotal evidence. Look at the 2016 finals when the refs were letting them play and get physical with Steph…. Yeah those shooting splits were pretty bad huh… those logo threes were hitting like they were once the player was worn down physically….. Look at Jalen Brunson these last two games against Indiana…. Yeah. Having multiple guys press you 94 feet the entire game…. With all that said. A.I. a former football star THRIVED when teams got physical with him, and his speed alone made him impossible to press 94 feet… Lastly, If you’ve ever scene guys like Iverson play in person. You would understand how otherworldly his endurance, speed and quickness were on the basketball court. Just outrageously fast. Especially when he was young and still had that bounce. In a crowded lane, with all those bigs, and limited space. Iverson was able to get to the rim with ease…. The commentator clearly doesn’t how quickness and speed can’t be taught and in basketball terms you add skill and heart… Trust me. Iverson would’ve killed in this era, Iverson averaged nearly 7 assists per game ~ while scoring 26.7 per for his career ~ This is why guys who are analytics guys aren’t good GM’s. My guy Tim Connelly. He’s an old school evaluator. Built the Nuggets and TWolves. He uses some analytics, but he knows “Hoopers” and guys that can just play ball. One of the best in he biz right now. Shoutout to my hometown guy. Yeah It’s okay to talk the analytics side. But to dismiss a player like Iverson and use the stats to justify whether or not he could play in today’s game is simply absurd. If he understood basketball, and the context of defensive resistance, and pace of the game, he’d know that it would be the other way around, Luka wouldn’t be as good in an era where they enforced the ball handling rules, and allowed defensive physicality, and they called moving screens, and the coaching and emphasis of the game were different. Young guys like this do a disservice to the game. Shows a severe lack of history and understanding of the game of basketball. Analytics are statistics. Which can be manipulated to fit a narrative. They don’t not give full context. They certainly don’t give room for conclusive judgements on how player performs or would perform under different circumstances.
