You need exposure. I’ve only got 820 subs but if you allow me I will post a short clip off this and a link to your channel on my next video. Clear skies

Awesome man. I hope you gain a little exposure. I don’t have a very big influence but ever bit helps. The KZbin algorithm is a monster. If you don’t slow-mo pouring coffee and wear skinny jeans it kind of sweeps you under the rug. The majority of good and informative astronomy channels I found, I found by digging thru multiple pages of unimformative nonsense. KZbin claims to be interested in educators like yourself yet promotes stupidity such as Logan Paul. It’s confusing but regardless hopefully the link suggestion helps. Keep up the good work and I personally value your content.

+Garnett Leary I have a few theories about the algorithm myself. One of which is relevancy of networked channels. For instance, you and I could be regarded as highly relevant to one another. If we interact A lot, we may be able to show up as a suggested video after our own video plays more often. If the same large group of people subscribe to us, and interact often, then KZbin could build a "look alike" profile of ideal viewers, and we would show up in search more often to those kinds of viewer profiles. But it all revolves around watch time. Everything else is just a weighted parameter to the AI.

That’s an interesting theory.

Thanks! I hope to get a ton more how-to videos, reviews, and vlogs in 2018. And my holy grail is to be able to live stream from the telescope from time to time when interesting things happen if weather permits
