That bass playing is simply incredible. Simple, yet meaningful. Where the notes end is just as important as where they start. Not many other players vary the note duration to create different feelings. For example, around 1:20 the bass part is condensed and "choked". This creates a really tight feel. Alternatively, at around 3:15, the bass part opens up more and utilizes longer notes, which makes the sound relaxed and flowing. Does anyone know if this was played by Tyler Carroll or Brent Rusinow?
