You should link in the ability to set up and broadcast midi sysex so that you can control your synth gear setting by scene as well. Also missing, the ability to bind a scene to a timepoint in a song.

The problem is the service o this console. USB QU drive port just went off. RMA wants me to send the console to where shipping is going to cost me about the same as just buying a new one.

I am using the Qu-32 for a musical theatre production. Can I use the scenes feature to create transitions between scenes without having audio interruptions? Is there a way to transition between scenes without the touchscreen and without having to press recall and ok? Thanks!

Hi Cody, There is no audio interruption when changing scenes on Qu, so you can indeed do this! You can also assign scene controls to the soft keys or control them via MIDI. Thanks! Alex

If I copy a scene and make changes to the copy, should this affect the original scene?

Hello Ali, Once a scene is copied, it becomes a completely independent scene from the original one, so you can freely edit this without affecting the original scene. Cheers, Rafael

Hello Ahsan, The console will always boot back with no specific scene assigned but on the same state it was left on before powering off. If you require a 'Start up' scene, I would suggest programming a 'Soft Key' to recall the specific scene you wish by pressing this after boot up. Cheers, Rafael

Can scenes also remember the mute channels settings for that particular scene? Example scene 1, I muted all except for microphones.

Hi! I replied this to your question on the Qu-Tips Mute Group video. Did you see it? Yes, scene data includes the mute status on Qu. You can also limit the Global or per scene filter to only recall the mute status, if you wanted. Thanks! Alex

Hi Anslem, Scenes are generally used to change settings during a show, as these do not have any affect on the audio. Recalling a show file may interrupt the audio, so this is not recommended during a performance. Thanks! Alex

Hello Village AV, Yes, this you can load scenes from a different QU mixer, just be aware of the channel limitations from mixer to mixer, but other than that you shouldn't have any problem with it. Cheers, Rafael
