Well heck , Thanks Chip we’re far being pros at doing videos . Most of the time we’re just winging it and hoping for the best . I can say from experience that it’s hard to constantly put out videos doing the same thing cut , split , stack , deliver and keep it interesting but we try our best to. Much appreciate you watching and leaving comments as that is mostly what drives us to keep making videos . Thanks again Chip

All wood business, either firewood or lumber is a very hard way to make a living. The best part of the wood business is the great people you get to deal with. I cut firewood because I heat with it but I am 10-15 years ahead and am running out of places to stack it. I live in an area where everyone has firewood and there is a firewood stand about every 2 miles in my area. Sometimes 3 or 4 per mile depending how close you are to a campground. If I want to sell bulk, I have to drive at least 45 miles. Without a trailer, it isn;t worth doing a truckload at a time.

I did try that once but it just seemed easier to pry it up and slide a board under it . The real big logs I have a strap and use the tractor. Got a few dozen big logs I need to get to that I plan on sawing 18 in wide stuff out of so I’m gona have to go find that strap now .
