We left him in the truck one day for 5 minutes and came back to the passenger seat belt being chewed off. He's a border collie mix. It takes time for them to get used to the changes of a new home. Glad to see you got another furry companion! 👍👍

Look at putting a car muffler on your engine. I put them on my machines because 7:00 AM rule to start working on new Subdivisions . You don’t have to yell and use your arms. Like a Honda Generator they put good mufflers on them. Love new Dog! Merry Christmas 🎄

Great job, great video. Ya, it takes a lot of time doing the camera work. I think that why some channels have 3 or 4 cameras running at the same time. Then they can edit to make a video. You underestimate our ability to enjoy your misery when stacking firewood. 😁🤣 (just kidding). As for the dog, you could get a long leash and get him out of the way but still close. Maybe with a doghouse/shelter in range with a cozy/fluffy cushion to rest on. I would not put him there all day, but 1 or 2 hours at a time when you are running machines to get things done could help. I do suggest being extra careful with him around while you run the tractor. He was very focused on you, wanting to stay close to you, and I have seen in real life and on KZbin last week, that dogs are easily run over with amputations or worse as a consequence.

I don't blame Karen. I find it hard to get excited when it is 15 degrees out. I am old and retired, I don't go out in that weather if I don't have to. I love that hopper, for a vertical splitter, that is the only way to go. It sure speeds things up and cuts down on handling.

Phil, time to hire a few high school people to stack firewood for you. Joe from Ohio wood burner uses high schoolers to stack for him and he's tighter than a crab's butt, which is watertight. Get a system going because your all alone most of the time.

Hello Phil and Karen. Like you said before, when it gets cold it just seems to take longer to get things done. You do make me nervous watching you split wood and keeping an eye on the dog. As you know accidents happen without a distraction, be careful when splitting. Probably within a month Blue will become a perfect wood yard dog and free you up to concentrate on splitting. Don’t worry I wont tell Karen you’re still thinking of making more wood stands. You guys work hard enough to keep up with what you have now. Thanks for another good video.

I have two small 3 year old wood yard assistants. The little girl sticks around good but the not gets wanderlust. I put his training collar on him and I can keep his attention. He has 10 acres but likes to head down toward the road.
