I couldn't give the sat or any of the subject tests... I am pretty good at extracurriculars. Do I still have a shot at Harvard if I ace the essay?
@aandjschool4 жыл бұрын
Yes, for this cycle Harvard is test-optional. Meaning they consider your application regardless of whether you have the tests or not.

Rule in life: *Never* give up or sell yourself short. You’d be amazed at what you’re truly capable of. You have a shot at every school in life; your sheer will, work ethic, overall discipline, and, to a lesser extent, your intelligence, will dictate whether you succeed. This isn’t simply a platitude; I’ve lived it! Best of luck! (Harvard is a wonderful school.)

How hard is it to get into the graduate programmes at Harvard vs the undergraduate programmes?
@aandjschool4 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say but graduate programmes can be more competitive to get into but it definitely isn't a rule that one is more competitive than the other. It depends where you look.

@@aandjschool Is their masters programme in International Development and Public Policy more comoetitive than the average course? How does it compare to e.g. MSc in Behavioural Sciences or Public Policy at the LSE or Oxford?
@aandjschool4 жыл бұрын
It is very hard to give a comparison for different courses across different universities but definitely the courses at Oxford and LSE would be less competitive than courses at Harvard.

Hey! Really appreciated the video! It was great! I’m from Canada, we can’t have AP classes unless why apply, I didn’t but I’m still in French Immersion...so do I have a chance at Harvard?

Would Harvard maybe like my application better with additional dual credits?
@aandjschool4 жыл бұрын
The fact that your school doesn't offer AP classes definitely doesn't limit your chances at Harvard. They accept many international certificates and you can take the AP exam without taking the classes. Hope this helps, if you want you can message us on our Instagram @aandjeducation and we can go over your specific case.
