I had to do the blood allergy test for a pet last year as a final part of a diagnosis for the cause of her myasthenia. Anyways, the test alone was over $1000. Not the kind of thing you just do unless you have the money to spend.

My 2 year old Cavalier had his blood panel done and he is sensitive to nearly everything. Milk, eggs, every grain except quinoa, all but venison and duck for protein. I am compiling a list of what he can have but am looing for the essential vitamin/minerals he needs in his food. If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful! Keep up the great videos I love them!

ayo, love the vids. can you review other youtubers recipes? It'd be nice to hear your opinion on the biggest vloggers that are in your field, heck it can even be a collab where you guys debate your POVs on recipes I think this vid barely scratches the surface with what was talked about. I would love to learn more about kefir and colustrum, the latter being very new to me. Props either way, cant way to see else what you put out

my 17 year old dog has terrible digestive system. Nothing seems to work long term. She's a chihuahua about 5/6 pounds We kinda discovered she has acid reflux due to dry food she'd cough constantly with dry food/kibble. We tried cold food and it worked for a long time but then she started pooping blood, after a few trips to the vet and antibiotics we tried her recommendation to cooked chicken and rice. It worked however after some time she started coughing again, I figured out it was the rice. I switched it to boiled carrots, green peas, just cooked plain unseasoned chicken with a scrambled home farmed eggs unseasoned no added fats (cooked it without any greasers) and occasionally I put pumpkin puree. She's doing much better, I feel as if I could do more to her food for nutritional reasons is there anything else to help boost a healthier life for her? Also she's a diva picky eater and wont eat right away if it's not fancy enough.

Love these videos! I have questions! So many questions! 😂 Im looking for a colostrum and kefir supplement to add to my homemade pup food(she’s a six month old AmStaff). Do you have any suggestions?

Dr Mercola Colostrum supplement has had good reviews and for Kefir just use unflavoured human kefir. Organic if you can find it!

I am super curious on some thing I would love some advice my veterinarian doesn’t seem to understand or he doesn’t know what to do. I have a 4 1/2 year-old half dachshund, half Chihuahua who suffers from severe pancreatitis and epilepsy. She is on phenobarbital 15 mg two times a day. She currently ways in at just under 20 pounds. We are trying really hard to work her weight down as it is putting too much pressure on her joints and the doctor said she should weigh roughly about 14 pounds for healthy weight. I have put her on a new diet however, I do know that chicken and turkey are the best options not only to help her lose weight but to also help her with her pancreatitis. I was told to feed her a quarter cup twice a day of dry kibble. Do you have any recommendations for a dry kibble that is a diet food But doesn’t contain the chicken and the turkey. I’ve been told she has an in sensitivity to both of these proteins and I’ve noticed that when I give it to her, she has severe, projectile liquid, diarrhea consistently every 30 minutes to an hour, and her stomach does tend to swell up, causing her pancreatitis to become inflamed when she’s on turkey or chicken. I do have a local grocery store where I can purchase beef liver, I can give her nothing less than 90% lean ground beef the doctor said, and I’m looking for other alternatives for a healthy food diet that contains all the minerals and nutrients. Are used to have her on farmers dog but it was getting very expensive and I’m looking at the do it yourself nutrient packs that the farmer dog carries it would cost me about $30 for six weeks. It is a powdered Nutrient pack that supposed to have all the minerals and vitamins that I can use to mix in with her homemade dog food. Do you have any recommendations in this area as well as things like bison, lamb, and duck are super expensive. However, I can buy it in canned form or the little Caesar packs but I just feel like the calories are too much. I’ve been told to keep her on a calorie regimen of 210 per day any and all advice would be very welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Its very difficult for me to make suggestions as I don't know your pets full history. Ketogenic diets are sometimes useful for epilepsy but for acute pancreatitis you'll want to stick to low fat. Lean beef, chicken, pork, kangaroo, venison are all great choices of proteins. The farmers dog mix that would make it balanced sounds like it could be useful for you if there are no counterindications.

. @@petcubesofficial I did like the farmers dog I did not like the lack of proteins that were available my Chihuahua dachshund mix. Gia has an intolerance to turkey and also to check in. Unfortunately, she also hast to be grain free. It seems like. I now have her on a freeze dry dog food, but I am also bulking her up to make her homemade dog food even better. She eats lamb really well, she can eat ground beef, at least 90% lean or higher. She also can have bison as well. I don’t know about kangaroo and things of that nature as I don’t think I could get my hands on meat that is like that and I’m sure she could have venison. The unfortunate thing of her being intolerant to turkey and chicken is super sad because those are lean meats that would help her out. She is significantly overweight and we are currently working her down immensely and she’s gone now from 17 down to 15.2 pounds hoping to get her into the 13 or 14 pound range so we’ve been working her down over the last couple of weeks now and right now again we have her on a freeze dried food that seems to be working well for her but I just want a little bit more variety when it comes to protein.

@@sandrakerkez5172 thank you so much I’ll have to try to look into this. As an update, my Chihuahua is now down to 16.2 pounds. We have her on a grain free diet and right now I have her going in on a Chewy diet that actually contains pumpkin lamb and she is doing quite well. Has lost a significant amount of weight and we’re just barely over 2.2 pounds to go before she is at a healthy weight.
