Where is Allerton Road?

South Liverpool, It runs from smithdown rd through to Allerton Cemetery. some parts a major road some parts minor

Even after all this time I still think Belle Vale should’ve been closed & Allerton rebuilt.

belle vale has a new one, smaller then the original but a better building, its sad to see allerton go because of all its history. It was mentioned in the beatles song penny lane and the doors that were on it apparently were the last in the country of its kind, i hope they saved them.

@@veryhighguy I imagine someone would’ve saved them. It’s just terrifying when you think the one appliance from Toxteth & the one appliance at Speke & Garston now have to be stretched to cover Allerton as well as there own areas. With the fact Toxteth also have to frequently be sent into town as well not a very stable system.
