Beks video says each tournaments, gonna have a new currency. Scope should be banned from adding new currencies until they clean up our inventories and get rid of all the unused currencies and resources.

Hey Rev, you may want to make a video tomorrow about how this Alliance Tournament is one of the games biggest money grabs ever. If you want to earn credits towards the even store, you need to select a Tournament task that is pay-to-play. For instance, tasks that have you acquire or spend materials used in upgrading a specialty building. The only way to get that many meterials in a day are to pay for them. In order to get anywhere in this, you need to let the whales fight it out with their walets.

This comment needs to be pinned to the top. *Every* 10k point task is "buy a $100 pack". The next highest task is only 4k points and you're lucky if you even see one on the board.

appreciate the info, but Scopely is completely clueless. Do this, or that. NOT this AND that. This thing, while we also have a new ship. while we also have a previous new ship that most people don't have yet? On top of the fact that Scopley has spent 6+ months proving that "Quality not Quantity" was a bald-faced lie? Bits and pieces, here and there, are actually okay. I won't deny that. BUT. overall..... 2024 is a dumpster fire for this game.

Play at your own pace, spend minimal money, if any, so you can walk away when you’ve had enough. That’s the advice I give new players in the game, but most are just alt accounts. 😂

This is so disappointing. Was so looking forward to this then we saw the tasks. It’s basically a league of who can spend the most again. Thought maybe just for once it would be about effort, working as a team. The tasks are terrible. Designed to make you spend. This entire ARC is a disaster and shows scopely is after money more than ever. They clearly dont play their own game as if they did they would see how much they are ruining this game. The idea was so promising the tasks are just a real disappointment. Beks since you joined it’s been terrible. Content is terrible and it’s all about taking our money. Players leaving like wildfire over broken promises.

Beyond frustrated by the tournament. Vague tips and wording leads to confusion. Just had "spend 4000 uncommon fleet command points". So I upgrade a fleet commander, spend 4K skill points, upgrade etc. Nothing. Nope. I had to go into the refinery and do a 4000 point conversion for a fleet commander. Poorly worded leading to issues and problems

Great video as always rev, much more info then beks video and with how poorly the events have been rewarding players for most of this year I'm remaining mildly sceptical of it, I especially don't like the sound of a new currency every time it rolls round tho but we know that's to stop hoarding and encourage players to buy more points for the over priced stuff they'll have in the store for it.

This is purely punishing everybody who is not in one of the 100+ player alliances and/or big spenders. Not only adding up to the growing number of 💲 events, ok whoever wants to gain advantages there fair enough, but the tendency I see is away from enjoying the game and purely towards not spending some, but more and more... Sad for what could be a great game.

Nice new concept but sadly not working correctly on launch day! Cannot fathom how such big new features are not properly tested before roll out. My count on first two tasks stopped at 3 and 12 !! Scopely did send me a great comp chest today (day 2) but my task score for the alliance not fixed! Shame.

I never selected a task…but I have apparently 2/3. I only know that because I went to start one, and it told me I’d lose my progress. Even on the leaderboard it shows I’ve completed 2/3….wth.

In my opinion, the "Alliance" Tournament doesn´t improve cooperation between the alliance members... all it does for those who want to join, is encourage hoarding of ressources and only use them when the tournament is live... it will not help the game at all in the current state

this is a bit off topic but i like the event called federation day would like to see something like that regularly and one for klingon and rom maybe replace faction hunt points score based on rep points cause faction hunt is so dam grindy like each day needing to do 200+ faction hostiles a day and looking forward to new alliance feature

So *each* player needs to re-roll the entire Alliance Task board for everyone *30* times (30k points to complete/1k points per re-roll) to complete one of the SMS events...that's some BS right there. Why does Scopely keep insisting on making possibly fun events so...not fun? I was looking forward to completing events *with* my alliance, but the way the task board works it's...not fun. *Most* of the events are *spend* events for stuff I don't even have or can't get enough of without spending $$. Oh, and if you mess one task up (like I did, thought it was *spend* Directives but it was *acquire* Directives) then you cannot complete the other SMS that needs you to complete 9 tasks in 3 days by doing 3/day.

Can we get a chart with pics of the currency and names of the currency? I don't know what half the stuff is, just what it looks like and where it comes from because, well, I don't so much care what it is called, just that it does what it's supposed to do. This Tournament stuff has been a nightmare. I could only complete two tasks the first day and one task the second day for making mistakes. Boooo... I've been playing since the pandemic started like in 2020 or maybe even 2019, if I feel lost, I wonder how new folks feel?

On 86 I will have to see if the top alliance will let us play. They don't even let us mine. I have not spent money on 86 in over a year. My wife's 89 is a much better server.

I am really looking forward to this and how well my alliance does. Also I am looking forward to seeing if the top alliances are really top alliances the same for players. What I'm worried about is if there is a pay wall or turns into massive pvp. I hate this to be spend you way to the top type play with no skill needed just a credit card.

So is it going to score like alliance rep? I don't see how a reset would work if you keep the static items and restart with an alliance. I would expect you to reset but after the next event you get the alliance score. This will result in alliance hopping for static bonuses and then a return to your normal alliance.
