I like Patrick, but I actually find his perspective on most things to be annoying. He is always thinking about things in terms of "business" which isn't always applicable to the topic at hand. If you watch Tucker, it seems clear that he has no interest in politics. He frequently says so. He is too genuine to become a politician - it just doesn't seem like that stuff motivates him. And I think his motivations and personality is far more important to this analysis than Patrick speculating about some "business deal." I also don't like that Patrick doesn't seem to care about discussing ideas or concepts. He will have some great thinkers on, and all he ever asks them about is their prediction for some upcoming election. It's all just practical stuff and never any type of deep analysis of issues or ideas. It's probably what makes him a good business person, but I don't think it's great for a podcast. And at the end of the day, there is no one on Earth worse than Adam. I do enjoy the podcast, but there are just minor annoyances about what they focus on.

Nope, Tucker's views are inflated. Musk already explained it when the first video got so many views. Here is what is happening. They created some new spotlight type thing, and when a video is spotlighted, it creates some error, and every time someone logs on to Twitter, it adds a view to that video. Also, views on a video do not mean someone watched the video, it simply means someone opened the page. It also does not tell you how many people actually watched, because a lot of people watch videos in stages, or watches it multiple times, and every time they open the page it adds a view. if you get 100 views for example, it could be just 5 people that actually watched the video. Video views, song listens etc, are probably the most misleading figures on the internet. Nonetheless, the views on Twitter are inflated by an error in the system.

You make it seem like the “debate” was actually a debate. Mainstream media picks and chooses who attends, how much time they have, where they are placed, and what questions they are asked.
