Umemiya came out of this like an absolute CHAD, he understood that Choji, without intense interference, would keep going down the road of trying to be better than everyone but that's not how he wants the fight to end so he'll force Choji into lashing out because he doesn't even know what he's doing I'd LOVE to see how Umemiya, or just someone who knows a lot about psychology would do in Re:Zero and how that would change some outcomes that Subaru faces

Womp womp. Honestly, Umemiya did the right thing, by reminding him of what he was before he tweaked out. Choji was really just some lost kid with too much power and no one willing to confront him. Obviously he’s a child, so it will seem like a childish situation. I felt like this could’ve been resolved in half the episode. But I see he just needed guidance, not a beating. Even though I wanted to see (what seemed like) the fight of the century, I understand the less action-packed route they took. They’re probably saving that up for later this season. Either way, I’m excited to move past this and meet some of the other Bofurin Kings/Characters!

Choji holding Togame's face while he is repairing his ideal world with blooded hands was my fave scene. This sequence added by cloverworks, It's so impactful, showing us viewers how deep their relationship is & why Togame wanted to keep their ideal world for him to be happy. (when i read the manga i tear up but after they animated its even more sad damn)

Each time they predict what a character in a show does or says, they go crazy and it's funny too cuz there is an ongoing meme going on with sheera having future vision too, so this is like them awakening theirs. I have to be honest as much as I like this show so far, I really did not like this episode. The way Umemiya just allowed himself to get beat on was so annoying. I get he was using the whole "Talk no Jutsu" approach to get Choji to see the error of his ways, and I'm all for that, but I was just hoping to see a good display of his fighting ability, especially since they hyped him up as the leader of Bofurin.
