I jumped on buying this so fast when I saw it was coming back! My parents gifted this to me like 12 years ago when I was in college - it was my first high end palette and I spent many many nights using it with my friends in college getting ready for a night out! (Back when I didn’t even know how to do makeup well). So nostalgic !

On the day to day I’m the same, quite simple and basic makeup. Mainly because I don’t get up early enough in the morning to do detailed makeup before work. But I love any opportunity to do full glam makeup and play with eyeshadows.

I think the reason why this was so successful is because it has such a wide array of colours and almost each value has a pinky and a yellowy undertone shade. It literally has something for everyone even if you don’t use all of them.

I was able to snag my Naked palette from ULTA just after I heard that it was to be discontinued; so, it is still working for me. I also snagged the all-matte Naked Basics companion palette. With both palettes, I can create a wide range of neutral looks. I'm glad that others are going to get to enjoy this palette!

I think this palette was so great because you really could use any combination of shades to make a look. Seems like almost every palette since feels the need to throw in some crazy bright colors, which are fun, but not so functional in real life. I coveted this palette for years but didn't buy it because it was so expensive, (at the time) but then right before they discontinued it, they put it on sale for 50% off.

I remember being a freshman in high school when the naked palette launched and my cousin and I saved up and bought ours on the same day! We were both obsessed with beauty KZbin and would text each other every day which shades we were wearing that day from our naked palettes. It was the only eyeshadow I wore for years, so even though I’ve got over 30 palettes at this point, I had to buy this again when it relaunched for nostalgia’s sake and I still love it just as much as I used to!!

I was a big MAC singles girl and curated my own palettes, the Naked Palette was the first larger palette that I bought, and it wasn't MAC. Not that I was every loyal to just one brand, but most palettes up to this point were smaller, 2, 3,4 or sometimes 6 shades. I loved it, but it sent me on a palette collecting journey.

I'm glad UD re-released this palette! Back in 2010 when I was in college, I really wanted to try this palette. It was all anyone talked about, and it looked like it had every single eyeshadow I'd ever need in it... but it was $50, and I wasn't into spending that kind of money on one item, so I skipped it. I love this palette so much. I love neutral shades and loved that this palette gave me everything I needed for vacation or a work trip. I used to use Virgin and Buck to give me that classic Marilyn Monroe look and use Sin or Sidecar in the center and some Darkhorse in the outer corner if I wanted a little more oomph. I'm glad they brought it back, even if it's limited.
