I haven’t received my order from Sephora yet that includes this palette, but I am looking forward to getting it. I’m a pretty die hard fan of UD and also a lover of purple. I thought this review was very fair. I also have the Huda palette you mentioned, but for some reason the Huda formula tends to bother my eyes. I never have that issue with UD. Love your videos! Allie I 100% agree with you! Urban Decay palettes are really beginner friendly! I learned so much with my Urban Decay palettes. But after I gained some experience; I never reach for them anymore.

Thank you for your honest opinion and recommendation of something else that might be better suited. I absolutely Love purple eyeshadow and yours is actually the first review I've seen on this palette. I haven't been in the community (or however you want to phrase it) long. I'm a disabled woman who until about 4 months ago didn't really think too much about how I did my makeup. This pandemic has really changed what I was doing and I started watching KZbin beauty videos and the rest is history. Anyway, I don't have a large income being disabled but I really appreciate you thinking about what we might want and not just reviewing the product. I will keep my eye out for that palette on sale or a dupe for it but if you hadn't told me in this video...I wouldn't have even known to do that. Thanks again and big hugs, Kara

I love the way you explained that the ultraviolet palette is like a wearable grungy purple palette whereas the mercury retrograde is more of an ethereal glam, so helpful because I would definitely go for the grunge on a more everyday basis! Totally my vibe and I'm super excited about this palette!!!

This palette is super pretty! I've been super into neutrals and purples as my way of expanding my arsenal of primarily corals and pinks, so I am definitely considering getting this one. I have limited lid real estate with hooded Asian eyes, and I find that Korean-style eye makerup looks best on me, so I use maybe 1 matte, blend it with a shimmer on the outer edge, and use a shimmer topper -- and the ones in this palette are soooo UWUUUUU. Thank you for doing TWO looks!! I was definitely curious about the neutrals in this one. :)

Your looks are lovely! I just wanted to point out that I've had a lot of luck using purple dust as the outer corner shade instead of digital and I'm having a lot of success using Huda Beauty's slant-cut brush that was released with the Mercury Retrograde collection to blend shimmer into the crease instead of the usual fluffy blending brush. In a lot of ways, purple dust acts like a Colourpop matte with glitter.

I was a little disappointed when I saw this palette. I thought, if you're going to make a purple palette, make it mostly purple! Give me all the purple! All purple with maybe two neutrals/browns. In saying that, I have many neutral palettes already, so maybe it's better for people who don't already have the transition shades on hand. I think I'll go for the Colourpop purple and pink palettes instead.
