Hello Sir, In the first question while you are calculating the quantity at the end How come you have taken 400 lb? because it is an alloy of both Zinc and tin whereas the mixture ratio obtained (8:5) is of Zinc? I would be glad if I can get an explanation!

8:5 is not the quantity of only one component,its the entire quantity. 8 is the entire quantity from which zinc was taken in first mixture and 5 is the entire quantity of mixture from which zinc was taken from mixture 2nd.

in example 1,why did you take q1 as 400 lb?shouldn't we consider q1 as only zinc weight as 35% of 400lb?

sir,i got doubt.that if u add 9 litres of liquid B ,there should be change in second ratio of liquid A. coming to my point of view,assumed quantity is 96 and first quantity of A is 56 and second of A is 42.because adding complete liquid of B surely should be change in A quantity hope ull think on this.tq sir
