My uncle in-law family is from South Carolina. He introduced our family to eating what’s around….raccoon, squirrel, frog legs, possum, boar, etc. although we (especially as kids thought that this was so nasty but after having shark at 18, I became open to trying new things. My mom use to cook muskrat but that’s about how far we went. Now at 46 I’m open to trying new things like gator, frog legs and other exotic dishes. Shoutout to these men that gear whatever they can catch…….I’d love to hang out with these guys for a weekend.

That size gator is a good eating size. The best tasting gator I ever had was a 4-footer that got hit by a truck in front of me one night out there off highway 76 near what was Box Ranch/GroveCo. He was small, but he was good! lol.

I am a Cajun from Southern Louisiana and I have learned something new on how you catch Alligators. Interesting to see how you cook frog legs. We cut off the feet and separate each leg. You should come down to Southern Louisiana and hunt gator and bull frogs the way we do. Really fun. I am so glad you have greens on your plate, we usually don’t. Please use authentic Cajun Seasoning.

Hello BlueGabe and your family! My name is Therese Gooch and I do enjoy your videos and your brothers videos. I’m a 63 year old women and I love fishing for catfish. I watched this video and I wish I could come for a visit and eat some fresh frog legs plus I would love to try some alligator. I almost passed away in 2020 in which I had some kind of infection on my right lung and the dr’s didn’t have no antibiotics for the infection they had to do surgery to cut the fungus that was killing me. I spent 3 months hospitalized. Anyway enough with that story but before I ended up sick I always was watching your videos and I also watch Kelly’s videos also. Anyway I love your setup in your backyard cleaning station to clean your fish. But anyway y’all are so Blessed. I really would love to be able to visit and join y’all some good eating of frog legs and gator. I’m originally from AZ. But I live in MN. State of 10.000 lakes. Keep up with those awesome videos & maybe you can send me some fresh frog legs and gator. I pray to hear from you or Kelly. Thank you from Therese Gooch

@@delraydroneshots9668 That's too bad. I usually pond fish, but most big lakes here are pretty clean. I wouldn't hesitate eating any fish I caught in OK. If its dirty water, I am not fishing in it. I fish to eat them. Have done a few catch and release if they are too small or spawning though.
@delraydroneshots96683 жыл бұрын
@@madmex2k that's cool I think depending on where you are in the country things are a little different. I eat a lot of the fish we catch out in the Atlantic Ocean but the freshwater fish I throw back, I just fish them for fun.

I saw at the end you talked about goin' out for mullet. Have you ever gone "mullet jumpin"? I was fishing on a privately owned island off of Jekyll Island in Georgia. They had a series of canals on the island for bass fishing. These canals were lined with cattails. We'd take a boat at pretty much full speed along the edges & the mullet would start jumping. You get a couple of guys to hold a sheet & they'd whack it (kind of like Asian carp do) & we kept them in the boat, cleaned them & of course ate them. It was a blast!
