Wishing you have a speedy recovery on that shoulder. Had a reverse shoulder replacement on the right side. Still healing and doing physical therapy. Might need it done on the left also when that is done. Getting a MRI in two weeks for that. I’m 73 it’s hell getting old. Had right knee replaced in 2020. Left hip acting up. It still doing everything that I want to, however sometimes just a little slower.

I know you do this for a living now, but you are doing plenty of people a huge favor as well. You asked about cleaning small fish with the electric knife. I used to hit large bream with mine. Some of the smaller ones I would use the edge of my pocket knife and thumb and skin them. Leaving the meat on the bone. You know how batter doesn't stick to the skin that well so I had a trick for it. Made the wifey happy. Thanks again ole son. We'll see you in the next one. 😅

I'm amazed you have issues with Shimano reels, I've always sworn by them, but saying that, I am in the UK and mainly only fish fresh water. Keep up the good work. I'm very jealous of the Mahi Mahi. It's so great eating fish, which is so hard to get in the UK. I miss my fishing travels, but sadly, my health has stopped them.

Gabe you might be underestimating lightening. Lightening can strike up to 20, even 30 miles away from the storm center. Remember your boat and family are the highest point on the water for miles around.

Hey Gabe. An idea for you. Try installing some concrete pad tie downs for your boat area like they have in an auto body shop to secure the boats down tight or loosely. You'll not have to fill them with water and your air boat will not lift up with strong winds. No more pumping water out of your boats. Just a quick ratchet strap release. What do you think?

In South Dakota it’s called a lake rig, or a crappie rig… you are right. A great still fishing rig. Especially for blue gill and perch… sometimes walleye.
