Hey bro, I'm a gator fisherman from south Louisiana but living in Texas now. I'm a subscriber. Here's a little hint when getting your lizards ready for the table; make sure you get ALL fat off of that gator. It will make you sick. We use gator fat as misquote repellant in the swamp. Also, it helps to slide a damp dish cloth underneath your cutting board to prevent it from sliding around.

Your right, gator fat is the best mosquito repellent

Another great vid! A lil fyi tip... ALWAYS start with a sharp hook & knife.. the curly parsley ya used is mostly for garish/decorative purposes it is more bitter then the Italian flat leaf that ya use for cooking... throw the meat in the freezer for about 15 minutes, just to firm up a bit before cutting it up then ya can easily cut in thinner slices and such... Love watching yall

You should have tried some baking powder in your flower which would have helped it make a better crunch and adhere to the gator balls better and you could have double dip them if you did that type of recipe and they'll be a lot more crunchier and hold more of the flavors into them try that next time.

That Remoulade sauce isn't the real thing. And it's pronounced here in Germany Ram-owe-lad-er. Here E's at the end of a word has an "er" sound and not silent like it is back in the states.
@AriJordan
@AriJordan 3 жыл бұрын
Well, remoulade didn't originate in Germany so that's probably why. It's a sauce that originated in France. Southern people from the states also have poor pronunciation skills.
@seangere9698
@seangere9698 3 жыл бұрын
@@AriJordan I know it originally came from France and I also know how it is pronounced in French it would be an A sound at the end instead of an ER. And as he said he's probably mispronouncing it and if you know how to pronounce it leave a comment I did. So now you know how it's pronounced in both German and French. It also should be white with green bits in it and not looking like what you call French dressing in color.

For future reference, purchase a food processor if you don't have one or get a mixer with a meat grinder attachment. You literally could have saved yourself the time and you would have had a better mixture. Also, your second pronunciation of Remoulade was close to accurate it's a french condiment.
