I highly recommend getting a harpoon with a line and buoy! It’s a game changer, sooner you can get a harpoon in him after hooking him, less likely to lose him. Those hooks like to come out if that gator takes a weird turn.

I know this’ll get buried but if you guys ever do the broadhead test again in the future you should add a thin sheet of metal test to se the entrance hole, and use the annihilator XL and the original because I think the XL may fix some of your guys concerns. But great videos keep em up!

You should do some deer hunting in Florida some time! We have some surprisingly big deer. I've seen photos of 150 to 170 inch typicals from public land in central Florida, and the state record is a 206 non typical from central Florida public land as well.

There are some big one here in SC in the Pee Dee river and most definitely along the coast especially in Murrells Inlet. A 13 footer was seen eating another alligator a couple weeks ago!!

Great job guys Its not as easy as tv makes it look ! Try to get some beef lung for your next try . It floats alot higher and is a gator magnet . You can buy em with the peg rigged inside from alot of central fla gator guides . It wont dissapoint Keep it up tag guy !!!

I grew up on that lake, it can get damn nasty with a little wind. Biggest gator I’ve seen pulled out of it was 13’ 3”.
