Alligator Juniper Leopard Gecko Chainsaw Carving by Kyra Waits -

Hello Friends! In this video I carve my very first reptile! This is my version of a Leopard Gecko! They’re such cute little things! Also, in the future you can expect more longer-length videos like this one that show more of my process in widescreen. I finally obtained a second camera, so I will capture both 16:9 and 9:16 at the same time for a more up-close experience!

Well, I've now acquired an angle grinder, die grinder, and just bought my first chainsaw and PPE to go with it. I'm so excited to learn the new tools and get onto bigger carves. Your channel gives me alot of inspiration.😊❤ Can I ask,...what is the lift you are using? I am considering getting one of these, but don't know what to look for. Any suggestions would be great.

It did! Well, it was around 10 hours of work across 7 days. I always say you can guess how long it takes by the amount of outfits you see 😂

Really nice ,, but your wood is terribly cracked i stopped carving cause i find cracks devalue a piece.. customers constanly complaining about cracks... im done with this Selling bit i just carve them and burn them i feel too bad selling a cracked piece.

Hmm… well I find the cracks, when they’re this small, bring uniqueness to the piece. All wood cracks. In this one’s case, it’s alligator juniper, and it’s been sitting in my log yard for more than two years in the Arizona heat. It won’t crack anymore than this. And it will be around longer than I will 😂 if it was pine I may consider repairs before I finish. But not this one.
