I don't buy Sacks' argument that a few tweets changed his mind. Trump is still saying the system (i.e. elections) is rigged and you won't have a country if you don't fight back. You can't walk that back with a few tweets after your supporters storm the capital. I think these guys change their mind purely for self-interest. Also using your own words against you is not sneaky. If there was so much revelatory information since then, why didn't they expand other than he tweeted a few more times than I knew about...
@moki785017 сағат бұрын
I never saw episode 16, but I'm not going back & watching it either. Instead, I'll just wait to see the look on JCal's face with his foot in his mouth when 2020 is publicly proven with no judicial corruption & when the truth is made known publicly of what really happened on Jan. 6, 2021. There's a laptop that is getting ready to surface & there's also a SCOTUS case that will soon be revealed! I believe that will be Pelosi's laptop & the Brunson SCOTUS case! Finally!! When JCal is hopefully confronted by the the other three, he needs to say, "I'm sorry", not just apologize. Apologies are cold & he's cold enough towards those of us who started watching when our President Trump was interviewed. As far as Sacks & his choice of oatmeal or oat milk... Trump's not Hitler, MAGA isn't fascist & he's welcome to drink whatever his heart desires with no condemnation. It's his right to make that choice. We're not cancel culture in our side, JCal. 😡

The whole 3rd place is totally gone in Starbucks. The most recent one that opened near me is awful, The buy online/pick up in-store section is huge, and there were 3 sterile seating areas that were less than inviting. No customer service of worth and it might as well have been run by machines. Great book JCal and it is a million miles away from Schulz's vision of an Italian coffee bar

I think the All-in Podcast should into the events that happened on Trump's inaugural day. People were burning down cop cars and heavy protests. Imagine if they didn't assign the appropriate amount of police to rein in the crowd, one could also interpret that as something worse than Jan 6th. Jan 6th would not have happened if there were an appropriate amount of police to contain the crowd.

No doubt a 50 basis point rate cut is in order, inflation is a killer for the middle and lower class. Monetary policy decisions should prioritize economic stability for the working class, not cater to wall street’s big boys and politics.
@simone_maya16 сағат бұрын
My concern is where we will begin to see the effect of these cuts, is housing going to follow suit? I missed out on my dream home during the pandemic, I am now all eyes and ears for a further decline in mortgage rates.
@Muller_Andr16 сағат бұрын
That will be in 2025, the mortgage market already anticipated this as early as May.
@FranciszekPawal16 сағат бұрын
Further decline? This is the reason I had wanted to refinance in the 1st quarter according to our budget but my spouse likes the space and the pool. If I go ahead with the plan, I will have over 200k to put in a HYSA as I had initially intended, seeing stocks are very volatile these days and the bond market (10Y) is pricing in the effect of rate cuts by ticking upwards, is it a good time for an average joe to get into the financial markets?
@Jennapeters14416 сағат бұрын
Consider consulting a financial advisor to protect your retirement savings from inflation. I personally saw my portfolio grow from $750,000 to $1.2 million in 3 years, saving $23,000 in taxes and earning $45,000 in dividends, despite 2.5% annual inflation. A financial advisor can help you rebalance your portfolio, optimize retirement income, and develop a tax-efficient strategy to safeguard your future.

Trudeau on immigration is so messed up. In a country that already had significant immigration, decided to import 2x-4x the amount the economy can support. Vancouver BC housing is like SF housing prices... There was a report that even by 2030, there's not enough housing for the current population if they have 0 immigrants...
@boydmason447617 сағат бұрын
And to make it worse Vancouver jobs don’t have San Francisco career opportunities and salaries to support our insane house prices for our best talent. Having said that I put the blame on Trudeau for the countries failure on housing, not immigration, as British Columbia’s fertility rate is now 1.0 when 2.1 births per female is the zero growth population rate - meaning immigration is a must for Canada unless you want Canada’s population to disintegrate. My big complaint on immigration is that Canada and other immigrant magnets are stealing some of the best and brightest minds from the developing world to incrementally better our first world problems. I am constantly saddened of having Uber drivers in Vancouver telling about their engineering or medical careers back home and how they now live in a small 9’ x 9’ room illegally built in a house in Vancouver where they pay $900 per month with 9 roomates.
