Allis Chalmers B-125 power unit

Another AC piece from my collection. In the days before PTO driven hay and silage blowers these stationary power units were used to power the blower apparatus. This is the same engine in an Allis Chalmers B tractor, Hence the “B” and “125” for 125 cubic inches

That looks good and sounds great! Brings back memories of when I was a young, seeing AC power units powering some of the rides during the big annual street fair our town has every September. It was in the '70s, and I remember they were painted yellow.

It looks like it came off an AC combine or similar being fitted with that heavy duty "chaff" style grille.
