We run 2 n7s with tracks in rice and a 7720 turbo with tracks for rice the gleaners cut and thresh better than the Deere i have half a mind to sell the old Deere and get another gleaner

Congrats on the new machine, she looks like she's working good. Combine is the one piece of equipment I would most dread replacing. Starting over with a new old worn out one is not very appealing. And because of one of your videos, I now pull the negative cable off the battery's in the off season!

I saw plenty of these running 12 row heads back in the day. Keep in mind back when this machine was designed for average US corn yield was 100 bu/acre. It is an issue for folks using these older machine like a K2 with a 3 row corn head, its hard to go slow enough in high yield corn.

We traded 2 f series for 2 n7 in 1980 when they were delivered my grandpa told my dad they were to big you would never get them down the road

Awesome N6, how fast is N6 over L series were able to keep up with the harvesting? We AA160 International truck that could hold 10t that could keep up to MF 3342 SP, neighbour had same truck but nice light blue he could keep up with his L2. But when he got CaseIH 2188 he needed semi truck plus 18t chaser to keep up harvesting.

I know from a filming standpoint I had a harder time keeping up with the N6 than the M2!

Which engine? I know some were air cooled and some were liquid cooled.

Its got the allis 426 in it, the r50 r60 and r70 were the start of the air cooled Gleaners

That looks like a series 3 N6 so it’s probably a 1983
