A plaće of beauty beyond words. And that's coming from a Croatian living an hour's drive from my doorstep to the border. I had the fortune to have lived in Bled for six years. And have been all over this beauty of a country God knows how many times, and will continue to do so. Very nice and welcoming people. The food, particularly in the Gorenjska region where Lake Bled is situated is out of this world. And wine 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷. Redu from the Primorska and Karst regions are really something else.

You should def go in winter time, highly recommended and dont forget Croatia and the Plitvice lakes, insane views in the national parks there as well. Winter/fall is the best time, summer gets really crowded in both of these places. It is another level of magic when the blue water becomes ice imo 🙂

This is so nice!!! I travelled to Slovenia last summer, stayed in Ljubljana and visited Bled for a few days, definitely has been one of my favorite places i've visited so far!!! And yes, in the summer it fills up A LOT, but it was still such and incredible experience as a solo traveller as well. The Vintgar Gorge was absolutely stunning, specially the hike back, you can continue to the top of the hill to the church and personally walked all the way back to Bled, cannot put into words how beautiful the view was, 10/10

Slovenia is so underrated! Lake Bled is my favorite place ever and you showed it beautifully. So interesting to see how the weather changes the color of the lake, I went in summer and it was so much more blue.

You need to go to Lake Jasna, the Vrsic Pass, and Great Soca Gorge if you go back!!! They’re all right next to each other and the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen

I was in slovenia this summer and was at lake bled long enough to look at the lake and then leave. It was so crowded. I went up into the mountains which was gorgeous but the driving was very very tight most of the time.

SUCH a gorgeous video! I visited in the summer and I can confirm it does get veery busy but you can rent a SUP and float about which is pretty lovely because the water is so warm. If you didn't visit it this time I'd definitely recommend getting to Lake Bohinj for early morning too. It is silent and beauuuutiful. I really want to go visit again after watching this!

When I came across your channel a few years ago, I never imagined you would visit my home country. You presented it beautifully ❤. If you are planning to visit Slovenia, you should base yourself in Ljubljana though. Our country is so small; everywhere you want to go is a maximum of 2 hours from Ljubljana. But if you only want to see Lake Bled and the surrounding attractions, then Bled is obviously the way. However, if you want to get more from the country, I suggest visiting the Logar Valley, Piran, Gorička Brda, and obviously Ljubljana.
