Hey Allison, so glad you showed red rock canyon!! It really is a pretty cool spot for hiking, I was actually there about 3 years ago.. I did a solo road trip to Nevada and had to see that spot as well as the seven magic mountains! Hope you were able to visit those as well!! Enjoy watching your travels ❤

Thanks for sharing. You must have heard about "The Wave" at Uath/Arizona that needs permits through lotto. My friend joined the on site lotto 3 days in a row but didn't win. When she texted me about her disappointment, I told her to visit Valley of Fire and she felt a bit better after visiting. Wish seeing this earily so I definitely tell her to visit Red Rock Cnayon too. You have many stunning photos👍👍

I did Red Rock last time I was in Vegas and was stunned how close it is to the city and so many people just pass it up. A great way to spend the afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Will be back in Vegas in about a month and planning on driving out to Valley of Fire I can’t wait to see those big red rocks 🏜️ as always you have such gorgeous and mesmerizing photography- now you have me even more excited to get out there!

I visited the VF in 1998 before heading home from Vegas. Gorgeous place. Be sure to bring a hat and lots of water. It's where they filmed the death of Capt Kirk in Star Trek Generations. 😞
