I have been growing strawberries for a few years. One thing that works well for me is before you even have berries, paint some “berry” sized rocks red with little dots on them to look like berries. Place them around the plant. The birds will knick their beaks on them when they try to eat them which they strongly dislike and this will deter them from coming back when the actual berries do appear. Keep the rocks there throughout the fruit bearing season as well.

A strawberry trick - we always paint rocks to look like strawberries and place them all around our strawberry plants. The birds will peck the rocks and hopefully deter them from messing with the berries!! 🍓 It is not a fix all, but it certainly helps!

You can always just rewire that lamp it make it fit your plug. You could even use a white cord so it blends in with the wall. It’s pretty easy, I’m sure Brandon could do it since I seem to remember him installing lights in your kitchen :) Or you could take it to a lamp repair shop

Please be careful, make sure you maybe rewire the lamps electrical to American plug system. Moving from EU to USA I learned, different plugs has different voltage power. If you’re looking for a way to keep birds away from strawberries, I’ve painted rocks to look like strawberries and that can sometimes be a deterrent! Not small enough that the birds can actually swallow and eat just that they try those instead then move on!
