I use a chemical sunscreen then touch up with a tinted mineral one or a tinted moisturiser over the top as a kind of concealer…. works for me and theyre not blending per se 😁

You can mix your two ColorScience sunscreens to adjust the shade. It’s the same brand, same formulation, same spf, etc so it’s fine. Only difference is the tint.

I love the Water Fresh Tint and have used it since it was released, too. Tip: rather than waste some of it on the back of your hand, pump it out into the top of the brush bristles and swirl it on your face. The bubbles pop open very easy (no need to prime it in your hand) - and no waste. ❤

Chanel Hydra line, is saving my skin this summer, and I got the lip serum. I don't hate the texture or think it has a bitter taste. I have to apply directly 2-3 times a day but I always apply either a balm or lipstick over it, to lock it in, otherwise I feel like I am not getting its full effect. It's a subtle improvement to my lips, and I like it.

Hi Allison! I also tried the Hydra Beauty Lip Serum and hated it. I even found the taste of it on my lips too bitter? Something like that. Anyway, good thing I tried it first before buying. The heat here in Greece is also unbearable. I sweat after I get out of the shower and then go back in again haha🥵🥵🥵and it is only June yet. Can't imagine July. But I am visiting Paris in July so I will at least be cooler there xx

I am going next week not for the Olympics. Just for three days. I keep changing my makeup beg all the time haha. I also drink frappe now that the weather is so hot. Hope you visit Greece again but I would advise that you avoid hot summer. This June has been like last year's July. Too hot. I think May is the best month or September.

Hello Allison, nice reviews :) There is no dupe for the Water-Fresh Tint on the market, no one else has the micro-fluidic bubbles of pigment in 75% water. Chanel's Tint is the only face makeup I can use comfortably for 8-9 hour workdays in the winter. The Complexion Touch, on the other hand, has a few dupes out. I do have a question - in this demo, the Medium-Plus Tint actually looks like it is more dense with pigment. Is that just this pump, or is it possibly so?

I live in the midwestern US, but I am from the South originally. I’m sorry our summer weather is drunk on y’all’s lawn. I love this look! Believe it or not, I find the the one-and-done look intimidating to pull off. This is probably because when I was getting into makeup as a young woman (in the 80s… ouch!), three or more eyeshadows was the standard. I think the shadow you used may be doable though. I love the blush and lipstick. I will probably need to used cool tones reds instead, due to the pink undertones in my skin. Great video, as always. Hi Allison, thank you for the information on mixing two SPF together. Let me ask you, do you think that Talpa from Chanel is the same as Talpa from the ombré premier line? I have the ombré premier so idk if I should get the other Talpa 😅. Also the Blanc Perle eye shadow first time I used it created a little hard crust on top, is it because mine was damaged already? My pleasure! In my opinion the new formula is an improvement. I have both versions of Talpa and never reach for the older one now. For Blanc Perle, try using some scotch tape to lift the hard pan.

Lovely look Alli. I have a question for my friendly chanel expert….I received the Complexion Touch and it is a shade too pale. Could I blend it with my Water Fresh Tint which is darker? Also if I wanted to use the CT more as a concealer, would I apply it underneath the WFT as it is quite a bit lighter in shade? Keep cool 🥵😎

Thanks! The CT is great as a concealer, I would use it on top actually. I like to add concealer after foundation or skin tints. Yes, I think mixing a darker shade is a good idea. Or what you can do is use the lighter shade in the center of the face and the deeper shade on the perimeter.
