1957 Chevrolet Quarter Panel Repairs

This week I have dredged up some older footage from when I repaired the quarter panels on a 1957 Chevrolet Belair. I either lost (or more likely failed to get) the footage for the end of the repairs and that is why this never made it out until now. I was able to get some photos of the finished work and at least partially come up with an ending to the video.
The patch panels were provided by the customer and I was asked to get the rust removed. That is the main reason for not doing either full or 1/2 quarters instead of patches.
My personal opinion is that just getting some basic hammers and Dollie’s will get you a long way towards finishing one of these types of projects and you don’t need the fanciest or most expensive tools to get excellent results. You just need to invest the time!
