Thank you for posting this video. I currently live in BK, but out of all the areas that I have researched in with my checklist of good schools, low crime, commute to Manhattan where I work, place to raise a child, affordable homes of many styles, it seems that Maplewood is really an amazing match for me and my family. I am planning on purchasing a property in a year and half and for what I see Maplewood/South Orange is currently my number 1 place to move, thanks again for the video.

Yeah, and school is awesome. I'm currently in fifth grade in an elementary school and they have a lot of things to offer for your kids. Especially the HUGE highschool. You would have a lot of fun.

Seems Maplewood and Irvington are real neighbors. But even on the same street just quarter a mile away the houses in Irvington side look like war-town, but in Maplewood they are still quite OK.

I've lived in both South Orange and Maplewood and they are both nice places to live. However, Maplewood is directly by Newark, Vauxhall and Irvington and South Orange is directly by Newark, Orange and East Orange so both towns are literally cupped by not so great cities and towns.

@@lincoln169 I use to live there as well,but now I am in collage. Maplewood and South Orange are both wonderful towns. They share allnsorts of food varieties such as Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Irish etc.
