My experience was in iron forge. He stayed in the entrance corridor, healing himself off low levels while all the max level raiders despatreely tried to take him out faster than his healing. People rushed in from SW on the tram to fight him. People were screaming in chat for low levels to flee. Floor was more skeletons than ground and ghosts filled the same space more than the living. Supposedly even Magni joined in on the fight but I was too busy getting dead

If you want to learn more about the history of the game and it's development, Blizzard has a couple of documentaries on it, one of which I think is called Looking for Group or something like that? I forgot... If you want to learn about WoW lore however, there are a bunch of KZbinrs out there that can definitely help you in getting started. I'd personally recommend watching Nobbel87, as well as Platinum WoW. They're both very informative. As for personal experiences, I'd recommend reading the WoW Chronicle, maybe the WoW Ultimate Visual Guide if you want some old lore recaps, the Grimoire of the Shadowlands and Beyond (If you want a Cosmic understanding of Death and whatnot), as well as the other books that are out there. For the comics and all, there is the Ashbringer stories, the DC published comics, etc. But the canonicity of the DC published comics are kinda weird, considering some aspects are basically just not the game in the actual lore, like Me'dan for example. There are a LOT of things out there that can help out. Hopefully these examples are a good enough start. If you want to START reading the books, I'd first recommend reading the Last Guardian, Lord of the Clans, Rise of the Horde, and the WoTA Trilogy books. They're all such amazing reads.

That was an extremely fun story 😂❤. We had a similar experience back when Fiesta was a fun game. Some of the original developers were inspired by the old days of blizzard. So I wouldn't be surprised if two events we had were inspired from this incident. Back when the company running the game was good, we had the same experience with a boss called mini dragon. The first time it happened though it was so bad we couldn't kill it. 😂❤ they had to shut us out of the server and do a quick patch that day before letting us back on. 😂 A GM always ran our monster invasion event because he had a great sense of humor. And we also had an event called kill the GM. It took us 3 to 5 years before we Finally defeated him. Took half the server to do it to. 😂

Heard about it but it didn't happen on my server at the time. I played alpha and beta with my lock and we used to pull Lord Banehollow from Felwood to Crossroads with about 6 other locks. Then we would summon a Doomguard and all our infernals and then release them. Back then they would not despawn and go back to their elite status. Banehollow would sleep everyone while the doomguard would slow any who tried to escape while the infernals mopped up. Always took several large coordinated groups to clear them out. The town would be locked down for hours. As for the Corrupted Blood event I WAS there lol. The interesting part is that people were actively trying to spread the plague to the entire game world. I eventually escaped the cities and learned to stay in the farthest zones using small camps that had a couple of NPCs, you know the ones that sell basic food and weapons as a place to operate out of until the devs patched it. Anyone with a pet kept trying to keep the curse on it and start it back up again. Devs FINALLY patched it out but the CDC took an interest in it and studied the event end to end. There were skeletons littered in every part of the world. Made Kazzak look like a joke. The idea was sparked by the first person to take the living bomb out of Molten Core, a female gnome warlock. Got the living bomb on her pet and she dismissed it and took it to the auction house in Iron Forge and it exploded and killed everyone in a small radius from the AH. The hattari blood curse from ZG was just the next iteration.

The first Kaiju made landfall in Stormwind. The second, Orgrimmar. Then the third hit Shattrath, and we knew: This was not gonna stop. Dee-dle-doo doo-dle-dee!

I helped my clan mates do this after we watched the video. Every chance we got we’d drag something to town and it was wonderful. It was a different time for WoW.

I remember seeing Teremus take out Booty Bay and Stormwind on our server countless times. I even kited him all the way to Stormwind once but that was mostly because I wanted his drops and figured the guards would eventually help me finish it off. You should do a video surrounding Oondasta's initial release in MoP. It's another one of those mass extinction events in WoW and was frankly one of the most enjoyable times I've had playing the game. For the uninitiated, Oondasta was a world boss on the new Isle of Giants that had some brutal AoE abilities, and it wasn't uncommon for 4 full raid groups to rush in and immediately be wiped.

I played a warlock and would summon demons in to goldshire and relinquish control just to watch the town burn. Summoning an infernal and letting it destroy everything was so damn fun.

Besides the Kazzak pull and the corrupted blood plague, there were also the Vaelstrasz bombs. Debuff that caused players to explode and die in a raid fight for massive damage also sometimes went onto pets. Hunters (again!) could take advantage of this by unsummoning their pets, wandering to a nearby auction hall or other crowded place, and resummoning their still tricking feline companion. Skeletons everywhere.

True! Definitely a thing on a smaller scale than kazzak and CB but might include that and other similar things in a video some day.

The best part of the vid by far was them pulling Kazzack into the throne room with Bolvar, the two of them vanishing into the other room, and there's this pause of "did....did it work?" to be answered by *20 more shadowbolt volleys.*
