Really happy to see a Mid-War battle report! The North Africa campaign is just so varied and interesting. Normandy is cool but the Western Desert and Tunisia are just something unique. I'd like to see more of this, especially if one of you rolls out the Desert Rats at some point!

I agree 100%..we (table top gamers) play to have fun right, so we need to make sure everthing is fair! At the end of the night if everyone had fun it was a great night! If you play only to win, you can do that online with a PC game!

I had this video up all weekend dying to watch it. Finally got to see it and it was a great report. I love midwar and my desert rats are fun. I wish I could get more midware games in. Glad you took aircraft!

Thanks! I'd like to do more midwar we just don't have the variety yet in our collections and I'm not a fan of repeated battles with the same forces. We are working on it though.

Thanks for the report… I literally last night sat down with my mid war books building a panzer 3 list and a Sherman list with a Lee unit … seeing how they fair in a report was nice … I’m a huge fan of the Panzer 2 .. was glad to see it survived… Didn’t know how much of a Beast Marders are in mid war … that was a nasty ambush … those Stuart’s had no chance… My list didn’t have Marders it had Stugs … may have to rethink… not having AA let those P40s attack at will … I would have to consider that as my Germans list had none and

Really nice to watch a Mid War battle report! My favorite period. 😊👍Are you planning on making more? Only a small note. In defensive fire you can only asign hits to teams that are in contact with the enemy. It didn't mater at the end, but it is a big difference.

Thanks and good catch on the defensive fire. I would love to plan more the only issue is that we don't have that large a collection of Mid War yet. So there isn't that much variety. Eventually I'd like to play more.

Good table, I have not played table games but thoroughly enjoyed this battle more than previous ones I have viewed, don't like that linking rule where units are affected by a loss (panzer 2) on the other side of table, battle tended to support the Desert Fox's famous quote, 'In a man-to-man fight, the winner is he who has one more round in his magazine.' Congratulations to both players !

Those are hand made from a paperclip armature, clump foliage and a metric ton of super glue.

The nice thing about the Battlefront models is that they are molded in color plastic. If you want to paint the minimum just do a basecoat and wash.

Can you shoot artillery when you want? I thought it was a phase after shooting.

nope, same phase. the only rule is that you must fire Smoke bombardments before any other shooting.

I think Mid V4 was a "beta" version of the game, Mid books need a rework, with more variety of lists, mostly infantry ones, or a new set of command cards with more formations. Great report!!
