It always makes my heart happy to see Westerners, Indians, Polynesians, Africans and so on become dedicated masters of traditional Asian martial arts. 😊 Over the last 35 years or so, I’ve had all the skin colors and both sexes teach me martial arts, and they all had that same dedication. I love it.

Thank you for the development of this video of the history of the Northern Style Eagle Claw. I learn and practice this system in NYC Chinatown through a community youth director of a local church. That was in 1973-1975 when I was a teenager. This was about the same time Master Leung Shum started his practice. Must respect you to put this together and maintain the history of Norther Style Eagle Claw from China to the USA. God bless and keep up this wonderful practice and system in the USA. Edward Ng

Neat! I've been learning Jow Ga, the Dean Chin lineage, who started his journey in White Eagle.

Nice, thx for watching. Jow Ga is also a great system that I'm pretty familiar with. In fact check the interview we did with Sifu Ron Wheeler who is a high level instructor in your system.kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6OZiZeMgK1qsK8

I do feel like I know you much better now! Thank you brother! I will keep watching. Great stuff. I was a Karate man. "Karate Men bleed on the inside!" LOL but only a short time when I was younger. My 14 year old son is doing MMA now.

Was Cynthia Rothrock also part of Grandmaster Leung Shum lineage? She also studied the art of Eagle Claw Kung Fu and the other martial disciplines.

Yessir she did study under Master Shum for a little bit back in the 80's learning various forms that she competed and performed during that time. A few of her older videos demonstrating various Ying Jow Pai sets can be found on youtube. Thx for watchin👍🏾

Did you study the Wu tai chi? How about doing some videos on the Wu Tai Chi from Shum? If you dont know that system yourself. How about have some of the guys at the school demonstrate the Tai Chi? Thanks
@KungfuKhronicles

Yes I practiced both Wu and some Yang Tai chi as well, although far from a specialist in those areas, but thanks for the suggestion, not a bad idea. 👍🏾

@@KungfuKhronicles , Awesome man, I have all Leung Shums Tai Chi videos. His Slow form with the slow counting made it seem like the 108 moments was more like 324 movements and made it really hard to learn. Also, because of the similarity of both the Wu fast and slow form with just a few changes that was another part that was so confusing. I can't believe all this time and no one did a video with the a demo of the full fast form and the slow form and talked about the differences. Then there were all the tai chi weapons forms. A very beautiful art. Hope you can put something together someday. Thanks
