It is sad for us westerners that the most important Ekadashi falls on December 25, 2020, this year, Mokshada Ekadashi Vaikuntha Ekadashi. I do put more importance on celebrating winter solstice on the 21st December. We always go to one of our old pagan sites to do this. However, much of the population come together to celebrate xmas. It is a tremendous family event here. I am sad.

Is it okay yo eat fruit while doing the fasting? I have to walk all day because of job.
@priscillareviews48474 жыл бұрын
I'm not exactly sure but Sadhguru has other videos saying that point is not to starve yourself. If you're active through the day and so hungry that you can't pay attention to the connection with the divine that opens up today it's okay to eat plain fruits to satiate yourself. If you become so focused on hunger through the day it sort of defeats the purpose

Its always a curiosity to me why only Non Indians only speak about their eating habits apart from Sadhguru. Is the media team at Isha only interviewing foreigners all the time? Why every media outreach from isha is heavily dosed with foreigners? There's nothing wrong in talking to foreigners but its very evident that the indians are themselves being marginalized from such testimonial records.
@hemamehta84293 жыл бұрын
Because most Indians who do it just do it. Sadguru talks for the benefits of his desciples.

All those fasts and pujas and active lifestyle yet my Mother, Grand parents, and dad caught Diabetes an thyroid at once
@subratarabidas65174 жыл бұрын
eating a lot of rice at once is the cause of diabetes (due to sugar level spikes from rice), no matter how much you fast.
@dhanyrafael4 жыл бұрын
Diabetes has many causes including stress. I have friends who didn't eat sweet stuff, but they were stressed individuals. Diabetes is a complicated and very bad disease. I hope I die of something else. I have a friend who had his legs cut because of diabetes. Terrible ! 😢😢😢
