Just go get the front accessories from an f body or corvette they sit back further then the truck accessories also get a intake manifold from the same f body or corvette it sits flatter then the truck intake and you'll have more top end

Cut the whole flat section out of that upper radiator hose and get either a radiator splice or an inline temperature sensor housing to put there and will line your hose up perfect!

I have a few suggestions that will help it run cooler. I built my 99 blazer with a 5.3 live in Phoenix. I am running a engineered cooling products s10 v8 radiator and 2 12 inch Spal fans that move a lot of air.My truck runs 210 degrees in the summer with the a/c on all day long.The biggest thing you can do is to seal all openings around radiator. I see that you have a 1 to 3 inch gap between core support opening and radiator seal that.the top of the radiator and support needs to be sealed in order for all the air to go thru instead of going around the radiator. When using an aluminum radiator they need to be encased in a flexible joint. When mounted rigid the radiators will crack from the core support flexing. The rivnuts you are looking for they are available from Marks bolts and nuts in Glendale 67ave and Northern. The Blazer and swap are clean looking . Good luck with it.

Braven probably didn’t even need the radiator. He just wasn’t holding pressure so the boiling point was lower. Oh well, nice to have the cooling capacity anyway.
