Lost the turnover battle. Lost the rushing battle. Were down 20-6 at half. And Penn State still won. They lose this game in the past. They weren’t perfect, and usually that spells doom, but Drew stepped up, Julian stepped up, the defense only allowed 10 points all second half, and they win. This was a monumental win for this squad and this core of guys.

Tyler Warren is fantastic, but more receivers need to step up and make a difference. USC stacked the box because they could and the running game was slowed down. No other receiver besides Warren are making much of a difference, and this is going to come back and haunt PSU. Warren was responsible for over half of Allar's completions, and that kind of imbalance in the passing game has to be addressed.

Would you feel any differently if USC had made both 4th quarter goal line stands against Michigan and Minnesota and was a top 10 team. Because they aren’t any better or worse for it. Just look past the record and realize this is still a talented team with a certified head coach.
