I brought this AllPowers off their website instead of Amazon. I paid $499 out the door; no shipping cost and no taxes. Amazon would have charged $50 extra for taxes. I have been testing it and so far it exceeds my expectations. Such a clean and practical design; well thought out with two wireless pads on the top. I am so glad I waited because I was not even aware of this model until earlier in the month. It was a steal

I always appreciate your thorough testing and honest feedback. It looks like that unit can accept 650 watts of solar. The sale price on these right now is incredible

Hi everyone, the r1500 model has two expandable battery ports on the side, BUT, ALLPOWERS are telling me they don’t have expandable batteries available for this model, which makes the two ports useless if you want that feature. To me, that’s false advertising! The next model up if you want to use that feature, is the r3500 model which costs a fair bit more. So be aware of this before you purchase the r1500 model.

Specs call for 15ms UPS. Should be good for computer systems and sensitive electronic equipment. Thanks again...should be a good addition to my hodge-podge of solar generators.

I bought this for specifically this. I check it with my 1000W power supply Ryzen3600x and Rtx2070, 4HDD and 2NVME, all 3 monitos and about 350-400w at peak (while gaming or IA image genetation) and worked flawlessly. So, i'am so happy to have a BIG UPS and a backup power if the grid goes down. just wanted to share my real world expiriende on that. I think that so many people like me buy this as a regular sai is really expensive, and have only 10 minutes backup power and no other uses.

Their website mentions nothing about the expansion batterys for the R1500. The R3500 shows expansion batterys but there is zero information or specs of them.

This seems to be almost a clone of the Bluetti AC180, but lacks a couple of things and adds a couple of things. The AC180 IS $649 FOR Black Friday sales, so the Allpowers is a pretty good deal depending on what someone needs. I like the AC inputs being in a row, for sure. Many units have them above each other, not so convenient.
