Dear meepo, please be the first ones to skip the middleman and make a skateboard that you can both charge conventionally AND (with a seperate port) plug a flexible solar panel directly into and charge. Because essentially all the solar generator does is charge a battery that then charges your skateboard battery. How about a port that just plugs any portable solar panel into the skateboard there by skipping the middleman.

That’s a great idea 💡 I support it. Only thing is…solar can be somewhat erratic with its output, and if they can’t make a super regulator inside the board to handle that, it might be a better value proposition to charge a power station that costs far less than my board, so if it glitches, it’ll happen to the power station. Hi. Love your channel. Just get a $60 DC to DC MPPT step up/boost controller and be way more efficient. I use them to charge ebikes and esk8. Adjustable output voltage from 24v to 85v. Just use a small foldable panel and the boost controller for a portable solution. I have a 10 lb. 200w panel for ebikes and a smaller 5 lb. 100w panel for esk8. Both fold small for backpacks.
