I wanted to type up that purpose statement, so I might as well share it with anyone reading! "We are forming the saints that God is calling us to be by providing faithful teaching, authentic worship and compassionate service. Our faith and actions nourish engaged Catholics, inspire unengaged Catholics, and invite all to Christ's Church."

I know watching you pray the Mass in the snow with your hat and gloves is inspiring to me because I see a shepherd leading his flock where they are and giving them what they need-Jesus-despite Covid restrictions at significant personal discomfort. Sacrificial love in action and trust me, actions speak louder than words. Bless you Father Meyer, you are truly a modern Father Jean Vianney.

Excellent, Father! So important to spell this out. Crucial that we remember our experience is likely very different from those we are trying to inspire. As I was listening to this on the fwy...I looked up and saw a double rainbow-no kidding...God is good! Thank you do inspiring us!!

TBTG, "I am convinced" - you described me to a "T". In my Holy Hour this morning, my conversation with the Holy Spirit this was my convicting soft spot. That I in my prayer, I was called to eliminate negative speak, thoughts, and actions. (The "Serenity prayer" came to mind.) In my human desire I frustrate myself because I want to wake "Catholic" people up, I want to change what's going on in the U.S., I want to end abortion with negative speak, thoughts and behaviors towards others. J.O.Y. "Jesus Others You" is what I need to draw on to "inspire" and to change others at the root of the problem; my relationships. St. Mother Teresa said, "Joy is the net for which to capture souls". Thanks Be To God for you Fr. Meyer.

This story is real !!!!!! Haha 😂 I laugh because this sounds familiar I grew up going to rosary 📿 of our lady catholic school and church Married in a the Catholic Church Baptized all four of my children in the Catholic Church was a active member of the Catholic Church The first two of my children received their first communion and then I broke away because of trouble with church priests which I now understand Trouble is everywhere and always has been all the way back to beginning ,example Judas. my relationship with God and the church was weak soooo I spent years searching but never really satisfied then I became numb BAD things happened in my life my belief was stale I then started with a protestant church again and came alive with love for Jesus Christ but still not satisfied so I kept searching and thanks be to God a few family members who were encouraging me to try the Catholic faith again I stubbornly And slowly came back I mean slowly two years about ??? but they were so gentle with me but yet persistent and it’s true what you’re saying these people are people I have a real relationship with they are my dad‘s wife my daughters husband‘s family and my daughter Father mike Schmidt is now preaching in my church here in Duluth mn that was also a huge part for my kids 🙏🙏🙏 and you father have nailed it Us as Catholics need to get excited about our faith Satan knows the weaknesses of the Catholic Church People come and go but the word of God never changes ....... I see more and more priests like yourself meeting the challenge And I’ve been praying for this Time to come and it’s here God has answered my prayers father I know he’s here with us I’m praying for you this is an excited time to be a priest !!!!! And an exciting time to be a Catholic 🔥🙏 🔥

Since last can not spell the word l will sound it out.karigma. Our parish had sessions on this . Because of the mask thing we are a little stymied . But you approach someone just by being interested in them and who they are. Something simple like asking them what kind of music they like. People are lonely or unsure of whom they can trust. FOCUS is one great campus ministry they is so good at this.

I wouldn’t listen to Fr. Baron, he has contradicted Jesus Christ. Example, “very few people go to hell if any, all religions are able to go to heaven those who don’t believe in Christ. I disagreed with his analysis of the movie, Silence.
