Yeah, this is a really weird video. There's a lot of little things in it that aren't accurate -- either they're the wrong word, or what he says doesn't correctly describe what happened. He opens up by saying that the Stan twins' childhood is way back in the 90s... although right in that episode, Stan says it was "1960-something". There's several times towards the end where he repeatedly refers to Ford as "Stan", even though prior to that, he'd gotten it right (and a couple of minutes later, he gets it right again). I'm really not sure what to make of this. If you're going to summarize the show like this, episode by episode, you would think you'd have to either rewatch every episode, or you'd at least have to read a synopsis of each episode (such as on wikipedia, or on the fandom wiki, where there's also transcripts). If you did that, though, you wouldn't make most of these mistakes. I guess it's possible that he just got a list of the episodes and then wrote what he remembered of them, but didn't bother to check a source? As I said... it's really weird. I can't quite figure out what's going on here.

This was few of the most fun and exciting mystery cartoons to appear in recent times. It wasn't a runaway gag like Scooby Doo, nor was it as adventurous as Adventure Time. It's just one show that tied up loose end in a matter of 2 seasons. Definitely one of Disney's best creation.

You need to watch Mystery Incorporated. It isn’t normal Scooby Doo. Still a kids show but much darker (more than gravity falls) and goes through an amazing story within 2 seasons, tying up all lose ends. If you like gravity falls you will absolutely love mystery incorperated

And, he said "vacuum cleaner" instead of "leaf blower" (and they call it a leaf blower within the episode itself). There are a bunch of really strange mistakes in this video. Like, on the one hand, it's very thorough, and would have taken a lot of effort to write a script for, and make (all those clips!). On the other hand, there's a bunch of places where he gets facts wrong, calls things by the wrong word, gets names wrong, and so on. It's really weird.

That baby is absolutely Shermie and I don’t know why there’s been so much discussion about this online. The flashback is to the Brother’s Stan senior year of high school, so they’d both be about 18. Grunkle Stan is mid 60s atleast, meaning it’s been about 50 years. If Shermie got married early, say 20 even, that’s 30 years, minus 18 for his son/daughter to grow up. So 12 years, and oh fuck that just so happens to be exactly how old Dipper and Mabel are.

B - if the Shermie scene is in 1962, explain why 1) the high school has a picture of Richard Nixon in the principals office, 2) Stan starts his narrative, when the twins are much younger, in nineteen sixty-something, 3) why Stan says that he hasn't seen his brother in "over ten years" in the 1982 scene.

Stan and Ford's senior year has to be no earlier than 1969, because there's a portrait of Richard Nixon as president hanging on the wall of the principal's office. (This is also *more or less* confirmed by the timeline included in the officially published Journal 3, which came out after the show ended.) Dipper and Mabel were born either in 1999 or 2000. (It depends on whether you think the show is set in the summer of 2012, which is when the first episode aired; or in 2013, because of a couple of other references to that year within the show.) So that baby is no more than 1 year old in 1969 (or later). And Dipper and Mabel are born around 1999, 30 years later. (Then the show is set 12/13 years after they are born.) If the baby is Shermie, he would have to become a father around age 15, and then his son would ALSO have to become a father at age 15, in order for Dipper and Mabel to be Shermie's grandkids. Sure, that's possible. Teen pregnancies do happen! It's pretty certain (from things the writers have said) that they did originally intend the baby to be Shermie. But by the time the episode aired, they realized they'd screwed the math up, and were implying two generations of teen pregnancies. They didn't MEAN to imply that, and that's why they have consistently failed to confirm whether the baby is Shermie, or if not, who the baby is; even though they've been asked many times over the years.
