I have never seen a group embrace symphonic/melodic undertones while still staying heavy so well before. This not only slaps but still does an amazing job at telling the bigger picture, and after listening to this play through I'm even more convinced of that. 4:08-4:57 is pure metal-audiophile heaven PLEASE make more!

Discovering more of your great videos every day! Which string gauges did you use for the tuning and even more important: where do you even get proper strings like that? Kalium?

Hey! Sam is using Dingwall strings 0.045-0.130 gauge. From what I hear, they're awesome and the shipping time is so much better than Kalium. Cheers Dominik!

@@allt Interesting. I found them to be not tight enough on my 5 string Dingwall even for Drop G# since the pitch changed too much when the lowest string was hit harder and Dingwall also recommends .174 for F# and .158 for G# while not offering strings like that themselves. Wish they would introduce thicker sets.
