I also have to say you are doing a great justice to the endless beauty Iceland has to offer. 8 years ago, my brother and I made the same trip as you both - only in December.... In a Hyundai I3.... With only the back seats to sleep on and bed linen to keep ourselves slightly above freezing..... But boy was it worth it! Cannot wait for the next episode!

I signed up when I previously watched Alex partner with them… Be careful - cancelling the subscription is by phone ONLY and I spent hours on hold across multiple attempts and then I spent ages having to explain ‘why’ I wanted to cancel (and that I “wasn’t interested in ‘pausing’ the subscription!”) This is NOT a dig at the Channel, but after the pain I felt, I couldn’t leave without saying.

We did this trip (My now wife, myself and another couple) in 2020. It was amazing. It was where we got engaged. The most amazing place on earth - we took a Rav4 with winter tires with spikes. If your finances are allowing it, island is definitely worth it.

My old man went from the uk to the Nordkapp in his defender and Sankey trailer totally ruined the mud flaps and his trailer looked like it has been hit with 100 shotguns but said it was a wicked trip. Good thing for keeping warm while sleeping is deer skins 👍🏼👍🏼 Enjoy lads
