Literally half of your list were late replacement fights (Edward got Nate because Khamzat pulled out due to covid, Cornier got Silva because Jon Jones did something dumb again, RDA got Moicano because Fiziev pulled out late injured & UFC failed to come to terms with Islam on his offer to be the late replacement), and the others are all title fights (some of which involved late replacement, like Khabib/Iaquinta due to the whole Conor throwing the dolly at the fighter bus, Ferguson/Gaethje because Khabib got stuck in Dagestan due to covid travel restrictions etc). Title fights have to happen otherwise there's no point having a champion/title, and it's better to have a late replacement fight than having a fight scrapped altogether.

Unfortunately DC being the more experienced and well rounded MMA fighter meant this became a complete mismatch when he choose to teach Cummins a lesson via a mixture of wrestling & striking

Chuck shouldn't have taken the fight. I know as a man, a fighter, you want to prove yourself again and again. But towards the end of his career, you could tell, it just wasn't there anymore. His training videos before the last Tito fight were scary and not for the "He's still got it" reasons. He was slow, his punches were slow, his movement was slow, it should have and rightly did cause a lot of people to speak out on the fight and how it shouldn't happen. As a result, he was beaten soundly. Tito's celebration well, Chuck had flat out owned him when they were both still active and I have always believed it was something that ate at Tito. He had an amazing career, but those Chuck fights were a huge blemish. For Tito, when they called the fight, inside felt like he got a portion of that back and any man, especially any fighter can understand that. He was excited, he had taken back, to an extent, what Chuck had taken from him. His celebration was the normal Tito Celebration. I've seen him do that for way back. Digging the grave after a win is Tito's thing. I didn't see it as out of place as many did. I can only imagine, even though Chuck was older, slower and so on, what it did for Tito, to win that fight. Everyone can say what they want but, if you had lost to another fighter 2 or 3 times in the past, and those losses were your 'unfinished business' as it were, you would be screaming and shouting and just as excited. I think everyone should ease up on the guy a bit.
